I liked this mission a lot. I have to admit it's not hard. You have dogfight, cruiser fight, platform fight. The idea with microjusm is excellent, just the buoy should have appeared in front and not in the back. Just consider that the mission takes some time, it's not fast.
Excellent mission. A plot with a twist and a lot of fighters to shoot down while flying the Space Cadillac, the almighty T/D. When everything seemed finished you have to keep chasing the rabbit. I loved it and is great material for a competition. It also features my beloved Colossus. I couldn't ask for anything more. A golden classic.
This is a battle disguised as a single mission. It could have easily been broken into 3 if not 4 missions (and add stages of battle). If you are flying for RTF and you are part of the ISD Warrior, avoid flying it. It takes a long time to complete. If you are from the Challenged or the Hammer, this mission is for you! Briefing is good. It let's you know what you are getting into... almost. There is no real storyline and that's ok. What's not ok is that after defending the SSD, you then had to go defend the ISD Colussus, in a completely disjointed and unnecessary two parter. Also, the first part was not ambitious enough. Since the Rebels are trying to bring down an SSD, add more cap ships, make it a real fireworks show. For those who read up to this point, to avoid grief, there is a catch moment as you destroy the Calamari on stage #1, 3 shuttles will pop up and try to hyperspace soon after and are part of the PRIMARY objective. Destroy them or face having to redo the mission from the beginning.
Overall, not a bad little mission for shooting up some rebels, and the micro-jump was an inspired plot device! That said, being left to disable the Colossus on my own at the end (without instruction to do so) was a bit annoying and the only real letdown to this mission!
That was a pretty decent mission. Especially with its story and a little twist, just as you think you are done... Surprise! If I recall correct this one has too few background objects. If using a shader from Blue Max, you may end up playing in absolute darkness for the last part.
Good in very few parts. However, as it has ions firing on the player, invoking a bug in XWA's coding, it is only deserving of a 1.
Not normally being an XWA flyer, I can't really say if this mission was good or bad, but I enjoyed flying it :)
A good mission, with some surprises. The microjump is a nice touch ;)
A battle in its self, loads to do.
Nice battle! I liked the microjump idea. Too many friendly craft, though. I nearly killed a few with my rockets...
Fun mission, and a reasonably complex plot for a free mission. Could be a bit more challenging though; I didn't have any trouble beating it even on hard mode.
Good difficulty, good dogfighting, good idea for a storyline. I liked the short jump, good use of Allied options. ...too many missiles flying around tho...hehe..other than that, great mission =o)
Could be a very good mission, but sorry to say it is a bit to easy (too many friendly craft)- the recapture of the ISD seems to be a randomtsed, shame because it is one of the primary mission goals.
Wonderful mission. It was very challenging, and it took me a while till I finally beat it. Was also nice to see my old ship, the Collie in there ;-)
Great Mission! Lots of fun. Plenty of stuff to blow up!!!
This was the best Free XWA Mission I have ever flown! Great work! But if there would be some Background Images, it would be better and not that dark!
It was good fun , lots of rebels to kill and the story line is surprising . Well , always again .
It's a good mission, and fun. Lot's of b-wings and such. Could be made a little harder.
This is a really well made mission. Fairly easy though. Also there's no voice acting, which would have been nice.
Fun mission, lots of fighters. Its a little on the easy side, however. The only problem I had with it is that the backdrops dont do much, and the mission is VERY dark. It is hard to see much of anything. Still, great mission.
There are currently no open bug reports for this battle.
