Like this one - good story line and some funny little in game conversations about the patrol being boring, then stuff happens :)
A mission that follows through with its name...although yes, it does conceal its ending, it's not really anything to get too excited about. Play it if you want something fairly simple where you'll be keeping enemy fighters off your tail while you go around inspecting things.
Solid mission that has pretty decent pacing. The difficulty ramps up nicely to drive you to focus, without making you feel like you just got hammered instantly. Would like to see some more patrols with interesting outcomes!
While this one had a more "realistic" plot - as realistic as SW can be ;) - there are a few funny points: why would I send a fighter squadron to check whether a working satellite is there? if it works and is sending a signal, no need to send a patrol... that could've been better worded oh well.
Briefing texts are ok, same for in flight messages. Of course they could've used more dialogue . The takedown of the platform while optional, could be more eventful with more opposition.
Action with the pirates, while expected to be easier, was a bit too bland in general terms, not just the platform.
I had quite a few seconds to notice it was mandatory to inspect the transports. I won't blame briefings here as you werent expected to jump away . I did a last second inspection before they entered hangar. The suspense was actually exciting! I think I did what the creator might have wanted: be entertained with the fighters and almost ignore the transports.
So the fun and technical factors are there, storyline is decent. A bit on the easy side but a fun experience.
Make sure you also inspect the containers as well ;)
Decent and simple mission, travel and inspect stuff while dogfighting some pirates. The time between phases can be slightly excessive, but overall it was fun to fly and an easy point for the FCHG basket
I found this one to be a bit underwhelming. You inspect some stuff and even on hard it's very easy. There is too much waiting around for things in the second region, so much so that I accidentally flew back to the start because nothing else was happening
Good enough within the scope of a single free type mission. The regions are at least a bit more imaginatively used. A ten minute joy. At least you are flying in a T/A instead of the T/D powerhouse. Even though several T/Ds and Missile Boats do arrive and you make short work of everything in no time. Some inspection done mid-way through forces you to be alert as the transports are speeding towards the platform. Did enough to be an above average mission with a score of 4 out of 5.
A pleasant way to spend ten minutes of your day! The mission is fairly simple, which is good being that it's a Free Mission, but has engaging and believable dialogue and presents a small challenge for earning maximum bonus points!
I really liked this one, it has a tactical approach I appreciate. A relatively small force doing some mess around in a pirate base. It's not like they stand a chance against T/As anyway! There is one small technical problem with this mission. After hypering in to the first zone you either have to destroy all or let go all of the T-Wings. Otherwise the bouy to next region does not pop up.
BANG! one down BANG! another down BANG! another down BANG! another down etc... for a very long time HAHAHAAAA like lambs to the slaughter!
A simple and fun free mission. Not bad for getting another point added to your FCHG score.
Not bad. Short, easy, and fun.
Good short mission , only a bit too short .
Not bad, not difficult either, but well designed.
