Name and rank:   Lieutenant Commander Marek Ny`Irfa
ID line:   LCM Marek Ny`Irfa [Inactive]
  Gender:   Male
  Species:   Human
Date of Birth:   6 BBY / 7971 CRC
Place of Birth:   Outer Rim Colony Station G-5
  Marital Status:   Single
Family information:   Mother: Ela Ny`Irfa nee Cipesh - Deceased
Father: Alexander Ny`Irfa
Sister (older): Bea Ny`Irfa
Sister (older): Katiee Ny`Irfa
Social status:   Quite broke, trying to rebuild wealth and reputation.
Significant events of childhood:   Not much is known about Marek's childhood, other than he was born and raised on a colony station somewhere in the outer rim. He never talks much about his distant past usually claiming its overly dull episode of his life. The only known facts are that his mother passed away when he was barely 8 and that he developed a passion for computers as he had preference to sink into the virtual world rather than face the dull reality. Nevertheless he seemed sensible enough to pay attention and received a solid education. As soon as he became of age, Marek had to serve his time with the station's security force. A job he was not overly happy with yet his sense of duty kept him there for just a bit more than two years.
Significant events of adulthood:   For the little money he managed to save, Marek bought his first ship. It was a junk yard wreck strapped together from remains of multiple other donors. Nevertheless it did its job for the first two years. Marek used his pile of rust to transport materials on and off not only his home station but neighbouring systems. He was solid and reliable with his job, earning him quite a good reputation and more money. Soon he was able to expand fleet of vessels and hire other people. Nevertheless he was not a type that sat back behind a desk, delegating tasks to other. He did enjoy doing the basic things himself and lead his company by example.

This was perhaps what led to his fall along the lack of judgement he seemed to suffer from when picking up what appeared as a lucrative contract to Tatooine. He was to deliver some goods presented as foodstuffs and medical supplies. In truth those turned out to be munitions for local pirate gang. Despite managing to avoid clash with authorities for transporting (unknowingly) illegal goods, he was scammed. The recipients never intended to pay. But to make things worse, they stole Marek's ship and left him badly bruised with nothing but his duty uniform. Marek spent over a month on a dune world trying to utilize his skills to find jobs paying well enough to buy a trip off the dreaded dune world. To no avail, however. After the time spend he came to realize his only option is to be drafted. Initially used as means to escape the planet, he started to treat joining ranks of the Emperor's Hammer as a new chapter in his life. A new chapter that would likely provide him quite an adventure that he could not pass on with his curiosity.
Alignment and attitude:   For most of his life, Marek was a neutral character trying to tackle every day's difficulties one at a time. He did not sympathize with any of side during the Galactic Civil War, instead trying to mind his own business and increase his wealth and status by hard work.
  Previous occupations:   Security officer
Freighter pilot
Private entrepreneur
Hobbies:   Whenever he's not flying, Marek tends to spend his time in various Holonet activities, occupying pretty much all of his free time.
Tragedies in life:   Mom's passing was definitely the biggest tragedy of Marek's life. One that had serious influence on who he became as an adult. Most recently, being robbed and left beaten on a sithhole of a sandy planet.
Phobias and allergies:   None that he'd be aware of.
  Views on the Empire and
the TIE Corps:
Marek's initial view on the Empire was relatively neutral, up until the authorities proved to pose some difficulty when he tried running his own business. This view changed onto positive after he joined the TIE Corps seeing there is a reason behind most of the Empire's actions.
  Reason for enlisting in
the TIE Corps:
Seeking justice or even vengeance after he was robbed clean and left to his own on not so friendly world.
  Other comments:   None
