There is a decent story and some good action, a bit annoying that you can’t choose heavier warheads with 4 caps to kill though.

A very fun mission that at first appears to be a convoy escort, but then turns into a fight for the convoy's survival until backup arrives. The opposition seemed realistic enough, although the friendly reinforcements are a bit lackluster, however they get the job done. Pretty entertaining.

Tiresome, tedious, poor gaming experience. This resumes in a few words my opinion of this mission. It's about pouncing on a rebel fleet consisting of 3 CRS and their squadrons of fighters, bombers and interceptors. Player will fly in a T/A with old concussion missiles for a warhead, and barely anything else, since the ATRs sent to destroy the cruisers could not shoot themselves on the foot. The whole thing ends up in a finger soaring session of pressing that trigger endlessly. It wore me out, this one. Fly elsewhere unless you have to, like yours truly, enslaved by RtF at the moment.

I had a good time with this. I always enjoy a large scale battle with capital ships involved. They didn't give you much firepower with which to make a dent in the capital ships, however, which could have been a problem. Another good target rich mission with some good old fashioned dog fighting. Good mission.

Not sure why everyone else was so harsh :) I Liked it. Closer to a 3 than a 4, but I liked the capital ships showdown. I feel more could have been done with both the friendly and enemy cap ships and their involvement in the battle, but overall better than your regular skirmish.

Pretty basic mission: imperial fleet attacked by rebel fleet. Not bad, nor particularly of interest.

Other than the enemy fleet arriving from hyperspace after a short while, this mission is no different to an XWA skirmish. The opposition is light and goes down quickly without posing much of a threat. A quick fly and forget mission.

A nice mission, where you can just relax and destroy some Rebel starfighters. Unfortunately the enemy ships don't really pose a threat to you or the mission critical crafts (M/CRVs). But in summary it's was enjoyable and a quick FCHG point.

Plotline You are part of Alpha Squadron, a Squadron stationed on the VSD Blazing Fury. The Fury is escorting a group of M/CRVs who are carrying Cargo which is vital to an upcoming Operation in the Dark Brotherhood. You must make sure to keep these M/CRVs safe, and allow the Fury to pass through this sector unharmed. We have heard of a large Rebel Task Force operating in this sector, an ISD was despatched recently and has found nothing so far, and we assume the area is safe, but we can't be too sure, so watch yourself.
