Unlike some other reviewers, I found nothing entertaining about slogging through 20 waves of TIE fighters. I suppose you could ignore them and just focus the platform but score would suffer. One hundred twenty enemy fighters feels like excess filler when a couple of waves would have sufficed for the plot. It's not as if they actually give you any trouble. Perhaps this mission is part of a larger story arc, but the plot doesn't flow well on its own. The briefing was non-existent and you can only figure out what to do my studying the goals and carefully listening to radio traffic. I found no bugs though, unless you call the enemy fighters' tendencies to start shooting in tight formation and friendly fire. Overall, not an enjoyable mission. If not playing it for a comp, I wouldn't have finished it due to boredom.

Considering this one was put together by Frodo, there wasn't that much wierd stuff going on. This battle is literally a straight 20 minute dog fight against Tie fighters. Which while fun, doesn't feel that nice shooting down Imperial craft. Regardless of that, I found no bugs and it was still fun to fly. This would be a great training mission for new pilots.

Easy, straightforward, flown in a T/D. What is there not to like? I understand that blasting 120 T/Fs may sound a bit excessive, but it's so much fun. Good old pure entertainment.

Well there is some sort of mystery story in the background but the main feature of this mission is its arcade nature. All you have to do is keep blasting the waves of TIE Fighters and the best way to do it is just lurk about the platform. If you angle it right you can blast entire flight of TIEs even before they can make their first turn. Pretty simple and relaxing mission, fun to fly.

This mission is a... guilty pleasure. Reminded me of Xwing (the game) really, whereby you were chopping down TIE Fighters left, right and centre. Should be renamed to 'Fish in a Barrel' :D The duration depends on how fast you can cut through those 120 TIEs. It may take as little as 15-20 mins, but better tor reserve half an hour

Entertaining enough, though simple and with a wierd storyline that isn't really finishing up.

Then there are people who say that slaughtering dozens and dozens of TIEs in a TD is no fun... but they are wrong, of course. *g* However, I think I didn't understand the story behind it all... The debriefing definitely lacked some info.

*WARNING* If you don't disable, capture, and destroy the platform ASAP, you could be dogfighting TIE Fighters for the rest of your life. Otherwise, this quite an enjoyable mission, bug free, and a little ... shall we say ... strange?

A simple mission, but a flawless one. No bugs, and killing over 100 Tie Fighters in a Defender is a nice way of relaxing...
