Good mission. Not to hard and not too easy (hard difficulty) but filled with fast dogfighting. A quick mission but sure to get your heart beating as you hurry to dispose of the rebel fighters.

I didn't enjoy this very much. Not much for a briefing. It's overly complicated (10 objectives!) and too dependent on the ability of your wingmen to do their jobs which they often don't because they crash into enemy transports on attack runs. The reference to the Florida election recount in 2000 is now obscure because it was almost 25 years ago. And I really dislike missions where the debrieding officer's only comment is "You suck"

A mediocre battle. I was engaged in the story for the first few missions but got confused and lost interest in the story line in the second half. The craft selections and loadouts didn't make sense for the assigned missions. The battles were free of game-breaking bugs but I did see some out of synce radio messages. I thought the gameplay was in line with my expectations on medium difficulty. On hard setting, the only difference is that there is more waves which is boring and makes for a tedious grind. Other than the story falling apart in the latter missions, what turns me off about the whole battle is the poor briefings and the snarky comments in the debrief. If you fail a mission, there aren't any hints on how to improve; all you get is some unhelpful dialogue on how badly you did.

A good set of missions. The storyline made sense and was interesting and the briefings matched well. Gameplay was engaging with the right amount of difficulty for the settings. I didn't find any bugs.

A good series of missions with a detailed and interesting plotline. The briefings were very well done and the readme gave good background information. The use of various flyable craft with different objectives from dogfighting, to cap ship busting to capture kept it fun. There were some periods of downtime that I wished for ALT-T.

Just repetitive waves of mines, 120 in all. The first 10 minutes was fun but after that it got boring. With shields, it wasn't even particularly challenging until then end when the mine launches a missile upon destruction. Even then, it's easy if you just go one at a time and dodge the missile until it self-destructs or shoot it.

A decent battle with average gameplay and difficulty. As others have mentioned, the inside jokes have not aged well. The main plot involves killing enemy starfighters in a Defender. There are a few cap ships to blow up but none of the missions are very difficult.

The best thing I can say about this battle is that it is quick and to the point. The briefings leave you wondering what you are supposed to do but it's easy enough to figure out - just kill the enemy starfighters. The readme file give a little more background to the story, it could have just used a little more work.

A fairly lackluster battle made worse by poorly done briefings. The plot had potential but was undeveloped and not supported by the initial briefings or after action briefings. The choice of a missile boat was an odd pick for these missions considering the majority of foes were starfighters. I was annoyed in M3 when two waves of rebel bombers kamikazed the station, robbing me of kills. Why are the radio transmissions in ALL CAPS???

Lame humor, "plot" of unresponsive tech support and ridiculous, non-informative briefings totally breaks what could be a good mission. The briefing is non-existent and I don't get author's attempts at humor. Figuring out what I was supposed to do was trial and error - mostly the latter. Once I figured it out, the gameplay was fun but that didn't make up for the failures.

Unlike some other reviewers, I found nothing entertaining about slogging through 20 waves of TIE fighters. I suppose you could ignore them and just focus the platform but score would suffer. One hundred twenty enemy fighters feels like excess filler when a couple of waves would have sufficed for the plot. It's not as if they actually give you any trouble. Perhaps this mission is part of a larger story arc, but the plot doesn't flow well on its own. The briefing was non-existent and you can only figure out what to do my studying the goals and carefully listening to radio traffic. I found no bugs though, unless you call the enemy fighters' tendencies to start shooting in tight formation and friendly fire. Overall, not an enjoyable mission. If not playing it for a comp, I wouldn't have finished it due to boredom.

This is a very fun mission. A fun story that made sense and it was tough enough to be challenging but no impossible goals.

The attempts at humor in the briefings go over my head at detract from the any feeling of immersion in the missions. In the readme it reveals that this battle is part of the author's character back-story, which is a nice touch. However, this battle is plagued by poor design elements and lack of polish. The difficulty modes are not balanced and there are some goals which are essentially unattainable given the time constraints. It's a pity, because I think this battle has real potential, just not in its current form.

Fun battle. What a thrill to see Kappa flying its missile boats. The story was ok and the briefings were adequate. You have to do lots of stuff, including help out hapless TIE Defenders disable escaping crafts when they are too slow taking down its shields. You have to be fast to get some objectives in time. There's inspecting, cap ship busting, dogfighting - hold those pesky Awings still with the tractor while toasting them with missiles. Lots of missile boat fun!

Fast missions - except for one that needs Tx4- that were easy and fun. Last mission requires secondary objectives so pay attention to the briefing. There was very little challenge but this is a good battle if you're just going for quick mission completion.

A good collections of missions recreating the classic TIE Fighter Tour of Duty VI: Arms Race. With the option of flying either TIE Advanced or Gunboat, you can use different strategies to accomplish your objectives. The last mission has some captures that require the gunboat's ion, though. I first tried each mission on Hard a few times but died quickly so I completed them all on medium. This was still challenging but not too hard.

A nice collection of missle boat missions with a good story with solid briefings. The missions are challenging enough to keep you busy and on track to complete objectives without being frantic.

I enjoyed this mission. The briefing was straight-forward and thematic and the gameplay was fun. You are required to utilize a variety of piloting skills including dogfighting, wingman management, time management/prioritization, capture, protection and capital ship attacks. An all-around good mission.

It's a decent mission - very easy if you're just looking to complete it but hard if you're chasing high score. If you dodge a few missiles every now and again, there's almost no danger of being shot down. Getting a decent score requires heroic time management skills.

I wanted to like this battle - I really did. But I can't. It had it's good points such as a plot that was sorta believable, various mission types and skills and the utilization of the in-game email was a nice touch. However, the briefings left me unenthused and I found certain parts of the battle overly grindy. In addition, the excessive use of unshielded craft and the gunboat made it more frustrating than fun and challenging.

I enjoyed this battle. The storyline was entertaining and progressed well by building mystery to a conclusion. The briefings and craft names had some humorous puns hidden in them. I liked the varied objectives and different player fighter craft even though most missions ended with killing many waves of enemy fighters, which made missions last a long time. I thought the overall difficulty was too easy. I played on hard and died only a few times, usually only to a enemy missile or a collision when flying unshielded craft. I had no problems completing all the bonus objectives.

Flying the unshielded Interceptor is always a blast and this one was FIVE missions. My heart was pounding after each mission! I liked how the missions progressed from recon to escort to superiority to allow you to really wring out the capabilites of the Interceptor. The briefings were short, to the point and informative. I found no bugs here and enjoyed this battle quite a bit.

This battle had a cool story concept, but when it was over, I never felt like I was part of that story. The missions were fun pew-pew - LOTS of star fighters and LOTS of capital ships made for impressive fights and a target rich environment.
To complete the missions, though, all you really have to do is just kill everything you see. Or at least live long enough for friendly AI to kill everything. Other than occasionally protecting your cap ships, I did not feel engaged with the story or feel like I took part in completing the objectives.
