Ran for RtF with full cheats and on easy. Fast and simple for the most part, but mission 3 with all the mines was annoying and the story is pretty good.

I liked these missions. Somewhat simple and straight to the point, but they told a story that was easy to follow form the gameplay and felt very much in-line with the campaign missions themselve.

A very enjoyable series of missions, apart from the mine-clearing one, which wasn't that interesting. The plots were pretty simple, but well explained and clear to complete. Well worth a play-through.

I played on Easy with cheats enabled. I can't really speak to much on this battle except that it's very fast. If you want a battle that's extremely quick and gets you points, this one is for you.

Aside from the tedious mine clearing mission, this one was extremely solid. There were so many mines to clear I thought I would see letter Z. Either way, the missions were fun and destroying cap ships is always enjoyable in my opinion.

A relatively easy battle to complete, lots of capital ship destruction goals that can be done easily with x4 speed on for competitions such as RtF. Missions do flow into each other better than some battles, so it's a 4 from me.

This one is an okay battle. Not to hard to play through. Gives easy six FCHG points. Often there is only one main goal so the fighters can be ignored. A nice little battle for a otherwise boring evening.

Not much good to say about this. The primary objectives are pretty quick, and you get a tractor beam which makes the optional dogfights quicker than it would be without. That's it. A couple early missions are loaded with several waves of fighters that gets tiresome to defeat. The final half of the battle offers fewer fighters, but worse mission design, and some bugs too. One mission crashes during the briefing. Another mission is loaded with enemy craft that never arrive because of impossible arrival logic. The final mission features loads of unshielded Z-95s. As if they weren't already enough of a joke against your TIE Defender. The plot is paper-thin and the briefings are weak. Scoring is awful and time consuming. I killed everything that arrived and didn't come close to the battle score. A complete waste of time. This battle is only good for spam and nothing else.

I thought this was very enjoyable. If skilled you can get A LOT of Mon Calamari kills by yourself. Sometimes they fight back, other times they do not. But, a kill is a kill:)

This battle is just plain weak. I'm only glad I get the chance to add some cap ship kills to my score. But even then the score is still weak. Not enough fighter squadrons. Not enough fighting period.

THE WING COMMANDER APPROVES THE SIXTEENTH BATTLE PLOTLINE FOR THE EMPEROR'S HAMMER The following plotline for the Dacian Downfall Battle was submitted by General Jac (FLT MBR/GN Jac/Beta-1/SSD Avr)...It should be noted that this battle was submitted prior to the announcement of the ship upgrades. Consequently, the old ISD, FRG and INT ship designations will be allowed to be utilized in this battle. THE DACIAN DOWNFALL By FLT MBR/GN JAC/BETA-I/IDS AVR Backround As most of you know, a man called General Dacian of the Rebel Alliance has threatened our lives. Though I doubt he will succeed, he may be able to put signifigent dent in our forces (with help from rouge imperials, and the Rebels). He has said that he will first kill Grand Admiral Ronin; so during the upcoming battles you MUST protect our leader. Mission 1 We have discovered a small group of Rebel corvettes. We believe that they are heading to a meeting with rouge imperials. The 3 corvettes have an escort consisting of 3 Escort Shuttles, and a scuadren of X-wings. We have reason to believe that high ranked officers are aboard the corvettes. Your mission is to hyper in to disable the corvettes. Next, the Transport group Scott will capture them. We expect more Rebel forces to arrive soon, mabey even some Iron Hand members, so be carefull, and protect the transports. Primary Goals 100% of corvette group Yoishi must be captured 100% of escort shuttle group Terra1 must be destroyed 100% of X-wing group blue must be destroyed Secondary Goals 100% of Transport group Scott must have completed their mission Bonus goals 100% of missle boat group I-Delta must be destroyed 100% of X-wing group Red must be destroyed Light Calamari Cruiser Kent-1 must be destroyed Mission 2 After interrogating the Rebel commanders, we have reason to believe that the Rebels are going to attack the Avenger. You are to patrol the area around the Avenger, and destroy any Rebels that may attack. We expect a small force, but be ready for anything. Also inspect any large craft entering the area. From previous missions we have learned that General Dacian, and Admiral Shayne are aboard this ship. In the next few missions we must capture this ship. The Cruiser is surrounded by a large minefield. You are to fly in, and destroy the mines. Also destroy any fighters that might arrive. In this mission you are to fly in destroy any defences then help ATR group Kyyle disable, and capture the CLS Kent-2. Primary Goals 100% of B-wing Green must be destroyed 100% of B-wing Blue must be destroyed 100% of X-wing Red must be destroyed 100% of A-wing Gold must be destroyed Secondary Goals CLS Kent-2 must be captured Mission 5 The ISD Avenger has arrived. The two prisoners will be taken to the Star Destroyer in the shuttles Brig-1, and 2. We are expecting a Rebel attack so patroll the area around the Avenger, BE ALERT! Protect the Avenger AT ALL COSTS. The ISD Deathwish will soon be there to assist. Primary Goals ISD Avenger must have survived Secondary Goals Shuttle Brig-1 must have completed mission.
