Interesting battle and one that flows fairly well. I would have given it a 5/5 but the final mission played havoc with TIE 95 so you may well want to make sure you're using TIE 98 when you try it. One IT glitch aside it's a good set of missions and I'd recommend playing it.

Quite seriously a mission that took longer to copy to my hard drive than complete.3 Murian Transports attacking a Star Destroyer is not a fair fight, you can blink and miss it and and no point are you actually under attack or threat. Stick it on hard and you'll cruise to a reasonably high score with no issues whatsoever.

Kind of pointless in that the mission goals are just to inspect some stationary objects, which can be done well before any enemy craft get close to you as you're in a T/A with some very impressive speed! Could easily be made more challenging with better enemy

Fairly quick and easy, but more challenging than some free missions out there in my opinion as there are more capital ships to destroy than you have rockets for, so you do need to dodge effectively to kill off the final few.

I'm at a loss to describe this one, I'm not sure how it was even accepted in the first place as it's quite simply that bad. Inspect the first freighter to turn up and job done - I've had longer waits for a coffee to pour.

Another free that's probably a bit on the easy side, with the only goal being to kill off a frigate using two flights of torpedo armed TIE Bombers. The only caveat being can you do it with the first wave or do you need the second?

Blink once and you'll miss it. Really far too simple for a mission and can be completed in under 2 minutes with no threat to the player craft or the mission critical ones that you need to protect.

A relatively simple one, but credit for trying to tie it into the EU storyline with names that come out of the books. I like what they tried to do but it really was easy to complete especially if you leave the Star Destroyer for last.

A fairly simply one, destroy the enemy ship with 2 waves of assault gunboats. When you pair them with rockets the mission is over in a flash that you'd almost forget.

A good FREE mission, the primary mission goal is easily accomplished although you do need to watch for any fighters making a run at the ATR. There are plenty of other enemies out there though to keep you entertained whilst you wait for the ATR to dock.

A relatively quick mission here, kill off a corvette and then take out two lots 75% of enemy fighters. Could use additional enemy fighters to make it a little tougher, but it is a reasonable fly.

Very simplistic - the battle just completes itself with all the wingmen you have. A few more defensive options such as fighters that defend the platforms would be a good addition!

I like what the mission designer was doing here, it makes a lot of sense even if it was a bit simple when put into practise. Flying with the intended load out would be recommended if you want to make a battle out of it, but mixing it up does allow you to finish quicker.

A good mission, quick and painless which is what a FREE should be, but not a cake walk as the enemy are trying to kill you. That alone makes a change from some FREE missions! Frigate could be told to shoot back which would be a improvement, but otherwise a decent 3/5.

Another one filed under very quick to finish. This is another mission which may benefit from being part of a wider campaign as it's very quick to complete and almost to easy as the targets do not shoot back!

No bugs, but a mission that should probably be reviewed by the TAC as it essentially completes itself with no input from the pilot whatsoever. You can actually start the mission, put the kettle on and then come back 1 minute later to find yourself victorious.

Quick and simple, which is relatively nice for a FREE mission. General premise has you covering the docking with a disabled frigate, which happily handles itself whilst you deal with the enemy fighters. Not challenging at all and a easy set of FCHG points.

Any mission that can work 'They killed Kenny' into the inflight messages in a serious manner deserves to be played and this one pulls it off with aplomb. Not overly challenging, but definitely not a cake walk as there are a number of fighters around. Relatively well built for a earlier XvT FREE.

A strange one, although the basic premise of defending your ship whilst repairs are being undertaken is fine. I played it on easy and it was really a cake walk, virtually completing itself with all the wingmen you had. The MonCal cruiser is easily despatched if you fly as a GUN too!

Quick and relatively painless. You can either lead the attack yourself as a T/B in which case you need to make use of your wingmen, or as a T/I and dogfight. Relatively bug free and a quick set of FCHG points here.

Again a relatively easy FREE mission, the load out of missiles is useful for the dogfighting portion of the mission, but as the primary goal is to destroy a cruiser a heavier default load out may have helped. Regardless, the accompanying GUNs are capable of taking out the cruiser provided you can keep the enemy fighters off them.

A interesting battle for the inflight messages alone, someone needs a better choice of vocabulary! The mission itself is relatively easy and not challenging at all to win in short order. Multiple flights of X-Wings and Z-95's to destroy but otherwise they do not target the mission critical shuttle.

A reasonable start to the battle, it as challenging yet manageable which was really quite enjoyable. However as a few have mentioned it became quite repetitive with several missions being different twists on the same thing, all of which could be rapidly completed if you just went for rockets and gunboats. Final mission was also a bit strange!

A fairly standard attack the enemy capital ship with the usual large number of torpedo armed GUN's. It's actually over fairly quickly with the cover you have from the escorting fighters.

One to play simply for the amusing storyline of protecting the booze supply. It's not a overly challenging mission though with the goal simply to inspect the containers whilst in a GUN and under cover of T/A who keep the enemy away from you. Worth a laugh though.
