4 A-Wings with missiles vs. 3 Gunboats?
Just not fun at all. First time I've had to scale back the difficulty in a long time.

Pretty average mission really - as usual you have to do all work to disable the main objective, which can get spicy, but doable - fighting Awings in GUN is boring really - helpful hint though - set your speed at 3/4 and you turn quicker & be tactical in how you use your warheads etc.

I played on Easy. This is a quick mission but it's definitely built in an annoying way. Flying Gunboats against A-Wings is never a fun time, even if the A-Wings fly like drunken monkeys. That said, it's not terribly difficult, but less skilled pilots will likely struggle.

This is a good Gunboat training mission. It goes without say that you are pitted against the dreaded A-Wings. It's ok though, just use your wingmen as both meatshields and as a distraction while you clear enough of them out.

Good, simple battle. Excellent example for training people in the use of GUNs. How to dogfight against a superior opponent such as the A-W with missiles. Additionally, it will help anyone to learn how to approach and disable a FRG. Fun to fly.

Nice mission. Get your priorities straight, and it's pretty easy to complete. Nice to see something that's actually easy to do on easy. You still need to do some work to prevent getting blown to bits, but that's all in the game.

I'll tell you flat out, the A-Wings are going to be a problem. They are just annoying. Find a way around them, kill them and stick to the objectives. You should have no problem.

Golly! I don't know if it's just me, or what! But that mission was, ofcourse, pretty simple, but those A-Wings got on my nerves! It's an ok mission, though.

I concur with Kawolski, a very easy FCHG point :) Even adding a couple of waves to the a-wings would make it a bit more challenging. It is also very easy to disable the frigate with Advanced Torps and 2 wingmen in GUNs.

Free XvT Mission designed by CMDR/CPT Shups/Crusader/WingXIII/ISD Grey Wolf
for the Wing vs Wing competition in October.
Installation:
1] Double click the .EHM file, the EH Battle Launcher will install the battle.
2] Check the Misc folder in your XvT one for additional material like patches, sounds etc.
3] Press the X-Wing vs. TIE Fighter button to start XvT and fly the battle.
This worked very well on my computer and I assume no responsibility whatsoever for any
thing that may happen to your PC! But it should work fine!
This is my first serious try at creating missions and more should hopefully follow!
