On medium, a-wings (6) will continuously lob concussion missiles. There are 6 a-wings and seemingly always one behind you. They take forever to deal with, in the meantime y-wings and x-wings attack a mission critical craft at will. You can send your wingmen after them, but that requires just flying in a constant loop to avoid missile lock while selecting a target for them to attack. Not fun. Later, R-41s (8) also have a missile fetish, but they're much quicker to dispatch.

Straight forward dogfight mission with only the slightest bit of story to justify itself. Not hard at all on medium.

Really enjoyed this mission - okay, simple plot, and simple dogfighting, but hey, why mess with the classics - this was my first play-through and one of those pesky Y-Wings got away (you know the ones - 1% hull, hyperspaces away - so will need to play again at some point to complete all the secondary goals!!

It's a protect-the-capital ship mission, but 1) the combat starts *immediately*, and 2) it's a M/FRG, so there's enough stakes there to keep it interesting. A bit silly when 8 R-41s show up at the end, but I enjoyed it enough to feel compelled to leave it with higher marks

Pretty easy mission, even on hard. Shoot down all the fighters as quickly as possible. Keep an eye on the Phoenix, as it will be attacked. The enemy dreadnought is an easy bonus objective.

It had a couple of good things going for it, but by the end of it, it falls flat on its face. The ship orders are also not ideal for both the friendly and enemy capital ships. I put that down to a lack of testing and/or knowledge of battle-making. It's not a bad mission but it won't set you alight either.

An easy protection mission, since you are in the space Cadillac, see the almighty T/D. Flying it in the old war horse, the GUN, would have been a bit more challenging, however, it is a quick mission for some fun and 1 point worth of FCHG. The briefings, though were overly simplistic.
