Pretty easy mission, even on hard. Plenty of targets (fighters, capital ships, platform) to keep you busy. Takes a while if you’re going for the secondary and bonus objectives, but it’s not a slog.
I'm not generally a huge fan of missile boat missions, but for a free mission this one was pretty good. It was obvious that the designer put some thought and effort into the design of the mission, and the end result shows it. This one is worth flying.
This mission gives credit to the massive firepower and versatility of the MIS. As for the briefings, they are perfectly made, simple and clear, but very enjoyable. Your craft is perfectly adequate with a double loadout, and it will be a lot of fun to destroy all their fighters with missiles and beams. It never gets old to have a Missile Boat single handedly destroying everything there is on the battlefield. You name it, capital ships, platforms and all of the alphabet fighters and pirates alike. An excellent mission and an example of what a MIS can do.
This mission is actually fun to play. It is also suitably crafted to suit the enjoyment of flying in a Missile Boat. The Mission designer knew what they were doing. What is also a welcomed change is that the briefing built around it was good, with proper description of the animated briefing instead of a one-page static. It gets a well-deserved 5. It is probably more enjoyable than most of the campaign's missile boat missions.

This free mission was kind of your typical TIE mission. A shoot 'em up mission where you take out the bad guy's starfighters.. It was not overly hard, but not overly interesting, in my opinion.

Plotline
--------
The Pirate Minir Truind and his group operate in the Minos Cluster region.
They have been allowed to survive to this point because they were "serving"
the Empire by harrassing the Rebel supply line to Minos and by doing various
other "missions" on the order of GA Ronin. This was until recently, until one
of his cruiser interfered in an Imperial capture operation and let some Rebels
escape and until some of Truind force were found defending a Rebel outpost...
GA Ronin has ordered the capture of Truind and the destruction of whatever
of his force that might be found... Victory-class Star Destroyer Stalwart
will be sent to the platform aera to oversee the capture operation and one
Missile Boat from Beta Squadron will provide cover for her and deal with
whatever fighter might be present...
