I played on Easy with cheats. Even with this, mission 5 is such a slog. Maybe other players don't mind them, but I hate minefields so much! You have to kill sooo many mines in mission 5, it overrides everything else positive about this battle for me.

Okay missions that can be done fairly quick. The only mission that made me pull my hair out was the mine clearing mission, but that's because my laptop crashed twice as I finished clearing all the mines. Mine missions are just bleh.

A well made mission, I really like what they tried to do with this one as the storyline works. Mission 4 is definitely one for the sadists though, with the mine clearing work. On the whole though a solid 4 star battle and one that can also be completed quickly.

Solid battle with a clear story and mission progression that wasn't too painfully slow. Some of the mission design was lacking, doing a bunch of minesweeping is never really that fun. But other than that complete, had a pretty good experience!

In places challenging, like mission 4 with all the mines, but in parts a little boring like Kill kill kill.

Okay battle. Mission 6 was completely unnecessary and should be removed.

ELEMENTS TM & (c) LUCASARTS ENTERTAINMENT COMPANY. Description: THE KOPH SQUADRON SUPREMACY PROJECT "OBLITERATE THE ADAJIO" BATTLE PLOTLINE: Concept by LT Irek Dahran. Written by MAJ Gallows. All mission construction by MAJ Gallows. This project was begun by Koph Squadron, and finished in February 2000 by WC/GN Gallows/Wing II/SSSD Sovereign Mission 1: Furball at Recon Point Three TIE Advanced from Tav Squadron are sent on a lightning reconnaissance sweep at a hyperspace point where the detected Rebel convoy and strike force has just arrived. A large minefield has been deployed around the enemy cruiser, the Calamari Adajio. The mighty Calamari and its battle group are the lead element of a Rebel intelligence and weapons development fleet that Grand Admiral Ronin has ordered the SSSD Sovereign's Wing VI to locate and destroy. Mission 2: The X-wing Swarm Battle against Rebel starfighters! Koph's two flights of missile boats head the initial attack against the enemy task force. LOTS of Rebel starfighters. It must be A-Wings and X-Wings in groups consists of five or six fighters, and armed with missiles too. Emperor's Hammer INT Hunter will arrive quickly and far away to disable ships from hyperjump! After fighters are destroyed, our strike craft hyperspace away, taking care NOT to risk attacking any of the primary Rebel ships yet. Mission 3: The Second Wave Koph Squadron's TIE Defender flight spearheads the quick follow-up attack to take immediate advantage of the damage inflicted by the missile boats in Mission 2. Also flying are T/Ds from Resh and Ra. Heavy battle against escort craft! Primary goals: Destroy escort and additional starfighters not taken out in Mission 2. Shield INT Hunter from heavy B-wing attack after enemy X-wings jump the Hunter's meager TIE Fighter defense squadron. Secondary goals: Two Rebel mine-laying CRVs must be disabled for capture so the EH Science Office can inspect the interesting Rebel advancements in Type B and C mine technologies. Mission 4: The Adajio Laid Bare Primary goal: Clear the minefield around the cruiser. Two Shin T/Ds face Type C mines. Bonus goals: Calamari Adajio must be attacked. (only attacked !); Two flights of Rebels (without missiles): 4 X-wings and 4 A-wings from the cruiser must be destroyed. Mission 5: Obliterate the Adajio We're aboard our TIE Defenders in a classic attack against the cruiser. Koph's T/Ds assist and cover Ra, Resh, Shin and Tav squadrons in destroying the enemy capital ship. Primary goals: Destroy the Adajio; capture Corellian Transport Ripcord making a run from the cruiser. Secondary goals: Wipe out remaining four Rebel starfighter squadrons. Mission 6: The Sovereign Scare Our capture of the Rebel CTRN resulted in a stunning piece of intelligence: The Rebels were acting like the mouse to the EH cat, but they secretly intended to deploy an overwhelming radiation weapon against the Sovereign; thankfully, Wing VI's brutal attacks thwarted this plan. However, now we must annihilate the scientific installation where the Rebels are continuing their desperate and dangerous research and development of these frightening radiation weapons. Shin squadron leads this daring strike against the Rebel PLT, Factory Station and stockpiling facility, aided by Tav, Omega and Koph squadrons. B. BATTLE PROLONGUE: Introduction to "Obliterate the Adajio." Written by LT Irek Dahran After the Grand Admiral Thrawn's death his flag-officer, captain Pallaeon opened the secret files in the main computer of Chimaera. There were the last instructions and orders of the killed Admiral. First: locate and destroy rebel intelligence fleet headquarters in the Outer Rim. And, second: there were coordinates of a dark planet Kcuff in Outer Rim (located in an unexplored territories). There, on a planet of constant night in a blue-highlighted tower was a residence of the last and the most hidden Moff of the Empire - the second Grand Moff after Grand Tarkin and the master of unexplored territories, Moff Vosarken. His personal fleet wasn't very powerful because at the time of his appointment there was a big war against the Rebel Alliance. It consisted of one escort & security VSD "Alligator" and one ISD "Judgment Day" for the heavy support and of some additional ships. As soon as captain Pallaeon started to complete the last orders, big rebel fleet leaded by Admiral Ackbar has jumped out from hyperspace near the rebel intelligence HQ one day before Pallaeon's arrival. In that battle Imperial forces were defeated... five Mon Calamari cruisers were destroyed. Captain Pallaeon was missing in battle ! At the last moment one shuttle has jumped in hyperspace to the Kcuff. Moff Vosarken's flagship, VSD "Alligator" was in patrol near the planet when damaged shuttle jumped out. Dying officer reported to the captain of VSD and gave him files of Pallaeon. And died. Grand Moff Vosarken immediately ordered his personal reserve, ISD "Judgment Day" to the one planet... planet of spies and traitors... Noghri's planet ! And Judgment Day came at one day. Destroyer was constantly bombarding the planet for a week. Noone alive. It was a price for Grand Admiral Thrawn's (and fourth person's in the Empire) assassination. After that, rebel Sector Fleet came out there. One light Calamari cruiser was destroyed. But ISD lost all the starfighters and all the officers in that battle and has withdrawn. "Judgment Day" was on the way to the Kcuff when his damaged hyperdrive burnt up. Command of the Destroyer, 13000 people(of 37000) would be somewhere in the space aboard their ISD forever, but one day a recon squadron from Wing VI of SSSD Sovereign located unknown damaged battleship. Now command of the ISD begs Grand Admiral Ronin to join that ISD to the Emperor's Hammer's Fleet, and to start to appoint command officers, and to form fighter squadrons aboard it. Technicians reported in that "Judgment Day" will be fully operational at three weeks. At the time of open rebellion even named New Republic we must consider all avialable forces against rebels! Also, Grand Admiral Thrawn's first order wasn't complete yet. ... Anyway while Grand Admiral Ronin was thinking about acception, he ordered Sovereign to find and destroy rebel intelligence HQ and to complete Thrawn's last order... //The end of introduction.
