Another enjoyable mission - the platform is pretty tough and those pesky rebels keep firing at me with missiles, the traitorous scrum! Worth flying? Yes!
Go destroy a platform while fighters are after you. Gunboat mission with lots of wingmen. I should start limiting these reviews to the time it took me to complete the mission and they'd be a lot shorter.
I played on Easy. This is another mission that you'll miss if you blink. Focus-fire the Platform with your torpedoes and it'll fall extremely quickly. There's lots of fighters to mop up if you want to dogfight for awhile.
Another quick and easy FREE mission, and another one that requires use of wingmen orders and the ability to hop into their cockpit when required to ensure the platform is destroyed in a timely manner. Plenty of missile happy A-Wings to contend with too for those that like dogfighting in GUNs!
I am a bit disappointed by this battle. I was hoping for something more. It's clearly created by someone who is afraid to get their teeth kicked in. :P Not very challenging.
Fast and furious, your GUNs get deployed in the middle of some thick crossfire, with target dead ahead. This mission can be either fast or slow, depending on your involvement in it, and which scores you are after. Worth a try.
Relatively straightforward, no-surprises mission: take gunships and explode platform. Minor issue: if you decide to play as the Interceptor group instead of the default Gunship group, the Gunships don't do too well at attacking the platform while you're busy mowing down all the Rebels.
The battle was great, but it's anoying to get killed, and get into a craft that gets distroyed 0.354s afterwards. Guess that's why it's called hard... Did I say it was a great battle?? :D
A very good mission. Not extraordinary, but it puts you in the middle of a real space battle where you are constantly dogfighting different types of rebel starfighters.
