First things first....why I´m writing in german you may ask, because I can!

Achtung! Hier gibt es heute alles...
Alkohol, Waffen und sogar Prostituierte. Versteckt in kleinen Containern, aber zu denen komme ich spaeter. Erst einmal starte ich meinen Flug ohne Sicht auf das bevorstehende Ziel. Wirklich erhaben dieses Gefühl von Geschwindigkeit wenn man in die Leere des Raumes starrt. Ach da war doch irgendwo ein Dreadnought der gekapert werden sollte. Also drehe ich mich ein wenig nach Steuerbord und entdecke das Ziel meiner "Anstrengungen". Vorher darf ich ein paar garstigen Rebellen ordentlich den Pelz buersten und gefuehlt drei Sekunden spaeter steht der DREAD Jackal mit heruntergelassenen Hosen mitten im Raum. Kaum sind die letzten T-65 und Z-95 dem Altmetall zugefuehrt (wir Deutschen lieben Recycling), springt eine Gruppe Y-Fluegler aus dem Hyperraum. "Ach komm, ich schiess die ersten drei ab und deaktivieren den vierten." Denke ich mir. Ich konnte ja nicht ahnen das den Rebellen der alte Kahn und die Container voellig egal zu sein scheinen aber ich nehme es bereitwillig hin. Das gute an der Mission ist, das sofort nachdem der DREAD deaktiviert ist aus allen Ecken Raumschiffe gesprungen kommen. Das schlechte daran ist, das alle auf der gleichen Achse vor sich hin eiern. Das viel schlechtere daran ist, das das Entern ewig dauert. In der Zwischenzeit war ich zweimal auf dem Klo, war mit meiner Katze spazieren und hab den Kuehlschrank abgetaut bis endlich dieser verdammte DREAD Jackal eingesackt war. Das mit Abstand Beste an diesem Einsatz, ist die Funktion der Container innerhalb der Mission. Mal abgesehen von dem dubiosen Inhalt der Gruppe "Pleasure", ergibt es fuer mich keinen Sinn die Zerstoerung der Container als Primaerziel auszuweisen, wenn das Kapern als Bonusziel und das Inspizieren derselben als Sekundaerziel laeuft. Vor allem weil das Kapern der Container noch viel laenger als ewig dauert. Circa 50 Minuten Ingame-Zeit vergingen bis die gesamte Show endlich durchgestanden war. APPLAUS! Zu allem Ueberfluss hatten wenigstens zwei der Container die gleichen Koordinaten im Raum. Du schiesst einen CTN/A ab als dein TRN nach dem Kapern abhebt und der TRN landet augenblicklich direkt in der Explosion unter der sich ein weiterer Container verbirgt. Wenigstens ein wenig Abwechslung. An sich ist der Einsatz fuer sein Alter solide aber mehr auch nicht...auch wenn er von einem hohen Tier des Corps designt wurde.
PS: Wer zum Teufel ist dieser Pappy und warum wollen alle zu ihm nach Hause?

Attention! Everything's here today...
Alcohol, weapons, and even prostitutes. Hidden in small containers, but I'll get to those later. First, I begin my flight without any sight of the impending target. Truly sublime is the feeling of speed when staring into the void of space. Oh, there was a dreadnought somewhere that was supposed to be hijacked. So I turn a little to starboard and discover the target of my "efforts." Before that, I get to give a good brushing to a few nasty rebels, and what feels like three seconds later, the DREAD Jackal is standing in the middle of the room with its pants down. No sooner have the last T-65s and Z-95s been sent to the scrap metal (we Germans love recycling) than a group of Y-Wings jumps out of hyperspace. "Oh come on, I'll shoot down the first three and deactivate the fourth," I think to myself. I couldn't have guessed that the rebels didn't seem to care at all about the old barge and the containers, but I willingly accept it.The good thing about the mission is that immediately after the DREAD is deactivated, spaceships jump out from all corners. The bad thing is that they all wobble along on the same axis. The much worse thing is that boarding takes forever. In the meantime, I went to the bathroom twice, took my cat for a walk, and defrosted the refrigerator until I finally caught that damn DREAD Jackal. By far the best thing about this mission is the function of the containers within the mission. Aside from the dubious content of the "Pleasure" group, it makes no sense to me to designate the destruction of the containers as the primary objective when capturing them is a bonus objective and inspecting them as a secondary objective. Especially since capturing the containers takes even longer than forever. About 50 minutes of in-game time passed before the whole show was finally over. APPLAUSE! To top it all off, at least two of the containers had the same spatial coordinates. You shoot down a CTN/A as your TRN takes off after being hijacked, and the TRN immediately lands directly in the explosion, underneath which another container is hidden. At least that's a little change. The mission itself is solid for its age, but nothing more...even if it was designed by a high-ranking Corps official.
PS: Who the hell is this Pappy and why does everyone want to go to his house?

Played on easy with cheats. Long wait for ship to be captured and a lot of dogfighting which got tedious. Maybe if I had played a bit differently it would have been better but as it was it's a 2 from me.

The story didn't really grip me and the action is very drawn out due to the length of time to capture the DREAD

Pretty dull mission really - very long wait time for a single capture with annoying star fighters spamming in to kill.....

It was an average but still nice mission to fly, until you see the ATR supposed to capture the DREAD takes over 7 minutes to dock. Thank the programmers for time compression. Not really much about this but yet-another-capture operation.

This is a fairly easy mission, almost perfect for SPAM flying, except the ATR takes 4+ minutes to reach the DREAD and even longer to capture it. Thankfully, no enemy AI attack the ATR (on easy, at least), so you can sit there and take out fighters or turn on invincibility and 4x time acceleration and make a cuppa.

If feeling like a god, is your type of thing, then you will love this mission. Even on hard mode you can barely break a sweat. Flying in the fortress that is the TIE Defender vs Rebel starfighters which are no match against you and in such small numbers that you can even ram them if your want, instead of shooting them down, just for fun and giggles.--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The Dreadnaught has no waypoints and everything is on the 0-axis. Normally, this is not a big deal. However, when the VSD arrives it crashes into the Dreadnaught, destroying it in the process. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
It's not an entirely bad mission. I am sure there are a lot of people who will like the opportunity to wreak havoc (pun intended) flying solo in the fortress that is the TIE Defender. The issue is not flying in the TIE defender or solo. The issue is, your opposition is underwhelming.

The VSD Ravager can hyperspace in, on top of the Dreadnaught, destroying it in the process and auto-failing the mission.
