It was an okay battle. One mission is really tough, the others are quite easy. Storyline is kinda cool, it's different than ''Kill the NR fleet'' plot. There's some strange stuff though (why the Challenge and the Relentless are VSD?) and some missions are way longer than they should be, but there's no fatal bug killing the mood, so it's a safe battle to play in a competition. Well done.

Overall enjoyed this battle, the story line was clear and progressed evenly. The missions were well above average in terms of design. The only exception is the last mission, some pretty gratuitous waiting that could easily be avoided. Nothing innovative in the story department, but overall solid.

I decided to fly this battle just for the heck of it. I prefer X Wing Alliance, honestly, but I am running out of battles to play on it. I thought this was pretty fun. Without spoiling too much, it was fun to see the New Republic and the Hutts join up against me...and still fail. I really enjoyed the large scale capital ship battles and the dogfights honestly get pretty intense. I almost died several times yet did not find the difficulty too ridiculous. My only serious knock on it was the very last mission; once I had blown everyone and everything away, the craft that were supposed to dock with the platform were only just showing up. I ended up heading off to take a shower and get some food while those craft went about their business, so who knows how long it took. Other than that, found this battle very fun!

This battle was refreshing in its clean and functional design, with no real issues experienced in completing it. If I had to pick significant fault with it, I would highlight the final missions as being psychological torture - corvette docking operations took almost half an hour in real time, at which point I left the room and came back a long time later to find the mission complete. Missions 1 to 4 offered a more enjoyable challenge though!

I really enjoyed flying this battle. It was about medium in difficulty. It was designed well,it had a good plot, and was complete with briefings.
