An enjoyable mission, with and interesting idea behind it The R41's are plentiful, but are pretty easy to shoot down.
Very easy on hard. Enemy ISD is disabled quickly, only enemy fighter opposition is weak stuff like Z-95/R-41. I swapped out the mag pulse for advanced missiles for quicker fighter kills.
Mission game play is good, you cover the capture of a rival Imperial Star Destroyer. It's easy to disable as it starts with no shields and you have a plethora of allied ships to help you through the mission. I did not encounter any issues in this mission that would make me not give it a 4.
A very easy mission as you are part of a T/D assault force which ultimately can overwhelm the enemy and win pretty much without you, except where you need to disable the enemy ISD. As others have mentioned if you wait for all craft to go home you pick up some bonus points too.
This was a solid free mission. No bugs. No major surprises but it was fun to protect the boarding craft from mixed craft pirates. Not too difficult, even on hard difficulty, and easy to get a good score, and although it was lacking originality I enjoyed playing through it.
A bit of mission fluff in the readme that was then also provided during the officer briefing, so I appreciate that. The Map briefing was extremely rudimentary, but then again, so was this mission. The mission is a race between you and your TIE/D Allies in slaughtering R41s and Z95s. I'm not even sure if they shot at me. Just slaughtered. Can't even be made harder by sending most of the TIE/D Allies home, as you can only command a couple of TIE/D in your flight group home.
Quick mission. Inspect and then disable the ISD. Take out waves and waves of fighters while you wait for the ISD to be captured. When the battle is over you can wait for TIE-Defenders to return home to get some bonus points.
This mission is a bit pointless. Tons and tons of T/Ds on your side vs a handful of fragile enemy fighters. The opposite of God-Mode, yet still a kind of god-mode whereby the only challenge is to see how many kills you can rack up for yourself before the AI, that typically never shoots down a single craft, will steal away your kills. The odds are so overwhelming that if you blink the AI will do the work for you...
One of the easiest missions ever made. It's actually boring.
Much too easy - a full compliment of TIE defenders against a handful of Z95s and R41s. As a result it's all over in about 5 minutes.
Quick, easy, and not complex.
Blah! Too many Friendlies and not enough targets. Still could be a winner with a few touchups
Yah, I agree.. Although I made this mission, Striker made some vital changes that really have made the mission better. I give it a 4, because it is so darn easy :P
A bit different, but it would have been better to have had Imperial Fighters launch from the ISD.
A whole squad of T/Ds slaughtering worthless Z-95s? Not challenging, but well made.
There are currently no open bug reports for this battle.
