This is a poor mission, yet again. Oh no Pif, you are getting worse and worse instead of better! On this one you have to laser down a frigate, so put aside 15 mins until it is done. Fly it for completion, there's not much in the mission itself. It is a continuation storywise of the CSA story Pif is "sharing" that started from Pif 1, but the missions are not really connected.

Good mission overall. It was pretty quick - take out two flight groups of enemy starfighters, then three cap ships. Not too difficult even on hard, so easy to get a good score. The only tedious part is taking out the modified frigate at the end using only lasers and useless wingmates. Despite that, still a fun mission overall.

Very thin plot on this one... you "arrive" somewhere to take out all of the enemies... who conveniently hyper in to meet you. Dueling at dawn I guess? Mission objectives couldn't be simpler though: kill everything. Unfortunately, it seems as if somebody forgot to pack the warheads... and the bombers, because you're stuck taking out capitals with lasers only. Not an experience I enjoy. Your wingmen are at least competent though, so that eases the pain a bit.
