Good battle with fun missions and a detailed storyline. I liked the variety of craft and the different objectives. The only thing that kept this battle from being a 5 was the excessive wait times when you're either waiting for a craft to arrive or waiting for a craft to fly home.

The Good: Amazing Story, good use of backdrops, fun missions.
The Bad: Excessive wait in M5 after all enemies are dead, lots of invulnerable craft in M1-M4 (especially M4), some grammar issues.
Overall: You owe it to yourself to experience this story, it is epic and fun and great.

An amazing battle!
Gidda knows how to use the vanilla XWA backgrounds and make them beautiful and unique.
Fantastic story and use of dynamic goals.
There are some minor flaws but you can look past them for appreciate the great time that it is.
It even uses the death star blast! Great briefings and ship placements.
It is pretty dark, but its is a DB battle...

Very nice plot, but somehow in the middle of the campaing the mysterious planet and its creepy story turns to be a cliché. The battle in the shielded T/I was really annoying, no warheads to take down capships is tedious, at best. And the last mission where everything has to go down, you get to chop down civvies, and maybe they should have been captured instead of butchered.

This battle started off very well, with a very intriguing storyline. However,as the campaign progresses there are more glitches, including friendly fire incidents that prevent mission completion. Furthermore, the final mission requires the extermination of civilians; I know we're playing a role, but this is a step too far in my book.

Battle was fun and challenging but I ehco the bugs concerning the final misison - the strike craft do not fire back at the Rebels which leads to their eventual destruction and mission failure.

Fantastic work!! Great storyline, and the missions made strategic sense, making me feel like I was part of a big operation and not just a couple random, pointless missions. The missions were also well designed, meaning you had to press an attack, fight enemy superiority fighters, and defend your own capships at the same time. A good mix of missions as well, and specific directives are always smiled upon. Job well done, Gidda!

Excellent plot, incredible missions, good difficulty and lots of fun gives this mission a well-deserved 5 in my book. Do yourself a favour and take some time to try this one out :)

Aside from the Y-Wings that didnt shoot back, and the patheticaly easy YT-2400, it was a good battle. All that DB mumbo-jumbo in the debreifings is what got it a 4, just tell me i gotta shoot stuff and it woulda got a 5.

A fun battle. The hardest I have ever seen on the Tie Corps site. That is not always a good thing. Fun but you better be a good pilot to beat this.

A most excellent battle, if not the best I've ever played. The storyline was great and the missions were challenging while not being impossible. I would have given it a 5 but I found a bug in mission two that made me unable to complete the mission, so I had to skip it. Overall a most impressive battle, I think everyone should fly it.

-Installation Instructions-
1] Double click the .EHM file, the EH Battle Launcher will install the battle.
2] Check the Misc folder in your XWA for additional material like patches, emails or sounds.
3] In EHBL, create a new "EH Pilot" in the Game Menu (Check "Prepare for EH Battle").
4] Press the X-Wing Alliance button to start XWA and fly the battle.
-Description:
You've received the honor of joining a special DB Task-Force under the direct command of GM
Chi Long. You have been appointed as Alpha Squadron CMDR, aboard the Victory-class Star
Destroyer Indomitable. The final goal of this operation is to conquer a remote planet
located in the Ultima Star system. Ultima Star is so called because it's believed to be the
most external sun system of the galaxy. The DB Task-Force is composed by the VSDII
Indomitable and Oppressor, the Modified Interdictor Enslaver and the ISD Subjugator plus
other support vessels and transports.
-Notes:
Since there're a lot of craft present in Mission #6 it could be useful to lower XWA resolution/details.
