It's a very simple and straightforward battle, but it's fun, and actually has a terrific plot twist at the end that I greatly appreciated, enough to definitely give it a higher rating than I otherwise would. Well worth playing!
Enjoyably straightforward with a solid plot.
My eighty-fifth battle in the TIE Corps.
Similar to the preceding battle, this one was decent, well designed and properly functioning. It also offered a different experience for the pilot by mixing different ships and warhead/beam loadings to vary the challenge and methods of completing it.
Short battle, but a classic in its own. The plotline is very good, about uncovering a political strife behind ancient prophecies and artifacts. The missions are action packed and well balanced, and the throughout the campaign the plot will thicken. Great time playing this, for some simple fun and a good story. Worth a try
While I didn't really understand the story too much, having not read up on it, it centers around capturing and delivering a Jedi. Some of the missions were very heavy on dogfighting squads as a solo starship, but I suppose that's what I should expect as a DB mission. Entertaining missions that weren't too bad overall on time and in difficulty.
A very simple battle involving the use of a shielded TIE Interceptor and a TIE Advanced to kill the same Jedi twice, capture them once, and expose their lies to a secular society. Enjoyable, but needed more flair for a higher score.
Ah, Dark Brotherhood battles, where you fly against single fighters called 'Strength' and 'Wisdom,' and 'Honor.' Does this mean that DB pilots don't have honor? That might explain why they fly shielded TIE/INs.
All in all a relatively fun little battle. I was a little frustrated in Mission 3 as it took several goes before I realized I wasn't supposed to be the one to disable Sadrol so that the ATR could capture it. That could have been more of an issue on my part as I am still 'new' to the X-Wing games though. I might have given the mission a 4 if it didn't seem so otherwise...easy...though.
Not bad. Good plotline/story. But missions were average. Worth the time spent.
Fun battle to fly. Those ancient pilots really can fly. However, in the last misson, theres a CC and an ISD and between the two of them, they launch only 4 fighters.
This was pretty good - I had fun with it anyway; storyline was a bit run of the mill, but we can't all be brilliant at that kind of thing. ;)
The does not really hold any challenge. Battles designed for Dark jedi's should be beyond the average pilot.
A well designed battle! Well done XReder! The DB needs a lot more battles designed like this.
Apart from a few glitches, this was a good battle.
We need more DB battles like this for all the newest platform. Pay attention on mission #1 it's easy but you have to play it using the highest level of difficulty.

Mission 2: Friendly FRGs head straight for the DREAD Lore and end up colliding with it. Their flight paths need to be changed to prevent this. The message warning about incoming enemy fighters appears far too late.
Mission 3: Imperial forces attack Sadrol when he is meant to be captured (medium difficulty).
Mission 4: Message about Ancients' fighters appears only after the first wave is destroyed. The Rascar A-wings also arrive late.

In mission 2, the FRG Hemnessy hypers in at the same coordinate as the hostile DRD, so the two end up occupying the same spot. Looks funny.

Title: Rascar Political Disruption Missions: 4 Game Platform: X-Wing vs. TIE Fighter Author: FM/LT XReder/Sadhe 1-2/Wing V/SSSD Sov - reder@oneimage.com Required patches ---------------- none Installation instructions -------------------------- 1] Double click the .EHM file, the EH Battle Launcher will install the battle 2] Check the Misc folder in your XvT one for additional material like patches, sounds etc. 3] Press the X-wing vs TIE Fighter button on the EHBL to start the game 4] Create a new pilot and fly the Imperial training missions Desription: An Ancient society, refferred to as The Ancients, existed (to our knowledge) millions of years ago, in an unknown territory near the planets and systems of Rascar. Only one government, the Rascarian govenment, knows of these such activities and, while disagreeing with their believes, persues the preservation of their memories and traditions. They were a dark society, filled with knowledge of the sith before it was actually formed into the sith, and wrote the secrets of prophecy and tactic on logs which were named the Sith Logs. Imperial rumor has it that these logs still exist, in the language of the Ancients, and in their territory. While the Ancients have since long passed, the Dark Council preceeves that the logs still exist, and would be a vital part to the Sith culture and knowledge base. Four weeks ago, from this date, a search was conducted near the surrounding sectors of Rascar. They were not looking for the logs, but merely a run-away Light Jedi who had been harrassing the inhabitants of Rascar. While searching for the Jedi, a large cluster of containers appeared that we had never seen before, merely because we had never scanned the area before. These containers are not recognizable at this distance, and it is hard for us to predict what is enclosed in them. The Light Jedi would stop at nothing to keep us from obtaining these Sith documents, with the exception of their destruction. The Light Jedi will not destroy the documents because of the prophecies within. If they can keep them in tact while they find a translator, they will have the knowledge to defeat and bring down the Dark Brotherhood from its foundation, the Dark Council. As a pilot of the sith, you must stop this Light Jedi from obtaining the logs. You also must protect the logs so that we can capture them, take them back to our base, and study them. We expect that the rebels will launch an attack, or decendants of the Ancients will become angered and they will attack us also. While we hope the Rascarian government does not mind our presence, we are not sure of their understanding level. Should this battle fail, all hope for the Sith shall be lost. The Light Jedi will know all of our secrets, if the logs are what they are rumored to be. They will be able to predict us, to sense us, and to destroy us. We must not let that happen, even though this is just a rumor, it is too large a risk for us to take. Please be careful while you're flying out there, and use the force to your advantage. The Dark Side depends upon you. No one else can achieve this, but you. Throughout most of the missions in this quest, you will be flying under the flight group name DarkJedi. Your ship will either be a T/I that has been modified or a T/A. You will encounter many types of opposition, and many types of helpful craft. Be wise to your relations with the craft around you, or your destruction may result. Use the force to predict how the mission will take place, exactly what opposition there will be, and use the force to keep an eye out. Mission 1 - You are running an inspection of all the containers in hope of finding the logs. An ATR will be there to assist you if you find them, but be warned that the Light Jedi is near. They want Sadrol's head, and we must give it to them to upkeep our relations with the alien politics. The remaining brave of the Ancients will try to take Con-Air, but you must not let them. Make sure Con-Air arrives safely and surely to the Cruiser. You must use it to defeat your opposition. Plan your strategy well, as some of these missions require you keep an eye on other craft while interception targets. You must be able to multi-task.
