While this battle has a few interesting moments, it doesn't respect your time in the slightest and is terrible for it.

My seventy-third battle in the TIE Corps.

First couple missions started out great, but the ridiculous distances you have to fly in an X-wing in Mission 3 to inspect an asteroid was 100% unneccesary. The final mission is a royal pain in the backside. Finally figured out the trick is to make sure you tell your wingmen to ignore the CRV and DREAD so their warheads are available to focus on the ATRs. That's the only way to get them all before they jump to lightspeed.

Sadly this battle leaves you with mixed emotions. It has an interesting plotline, you will commandeer an X-Wing throughout the campaign, and initially all missions seem to be balanced and properly laid out. As the flying unfolds, it can become a nightmare to end, as many things are not well polished or even taken in consideration. Additionally, there were waiting times longer than waiting for the bus in the italian capital. A shame, since this battle had so much potential, put to waste because poor implementation.

Like the other reviews say, terrible with few redeeming features. Even the convoy attacks in Missions 4 and 5 are tedious 'dodge lots of turbolasers' affairs, because X-Wings don't carry enough warheads for starship runs.

eek! this battle is soo bugged it's not funny >:/ Mission 1, you are flying Y-wings, you start far to far away from the plt to make this at all easy. the T-wings on Hard have Advanced missiles (if they don't it flet like it) and you have no countermeasures, it's complete and utter suicide, I must admit this tainted my view of this battle from the start. your then faced with the problem that 4 times out of 5 the AI will destroy the PLT not capture it. finnaly your left hanging around while the ATR capture travels the 10 KMs to the plt from the MC90. ARGHHH!!! far too big a distance >:/ Mission 2 you are immediatly hit by 1 of your wingmen because of bad waypoints. again the entry points are too far away. The Sheild generator takes far to long to reach the PLT. The other problem with this mission is that you can complete it even if the plt is destroyed, god knows how. mission 3, you start 40 KM from the asteriod, with everything to full burn it takes 5 mins to get to the first 1, the next 2 are 20 KM apart, this is just crazy distances. if your going to do that there should at least be a beam weapon so you can go faster or perhaps a faster craft than an X-wing. I managed to complete the mission in 15 mins, but thats only because I ignored all the enemies till I had inspected all the asteriods. mission 4 and 5 are a nice change. but who would believe that a commanding officer is so incompetant as not to be able to remember which nav point the enemy convoy will be comming from. Ahh well, the last 2 missions were fun and it's a shame the other missions took so long and were badly planned. As a first ever battle this could be excussed but otherwise this wasn't a good battle and not very fun to fly.

Quick FCHG points this battle is not...The times and distances in the first three missions need to be reduced by a factor of about ten. Great story, and well told within the missions.

This is one of the better battles I have played, and it is a very convincing, clever Infiltrator Wing story. The missions took me a few goes, and in particular the last mission took me quite a few goes. :) Even though I dislike IW battles, this is a IWXvT battle I can reccommend as being of high quality. I appreciate the effort that has obviously been invested.

Mission 1: Objectives to keep the platform and CRS Fear from being destroyed need to be set as 'prevent destruction of' instead of 'arrival' type conditions.

Mission 2: Objectives to keep the platform and CRS Fear from being destroyed need to be set as 'prevent destruction of' instead of 'arrival' type conditions. Enforcer flights I and II are too close together at the start, causing Enforcer II-2 to hit the player's craft. FRT Supply flies at half speed to the

platform, docks, and then flies another 6km to leave before the primary objective is fulfilled, resulting in a long wait time with no action. The 'FRT Supply must complete mission' needs to be changed to a 'board PLT' and 'enter hyperspace' joint condition, to prevent completion without the PLT being there as well. Message regarding FRt beginning delivery of shield generator is displayed *after* it has done so.

Mission 3: Questionably long distances between asteroids which leads to 10 minutes of largely aimless flying in a straight line at 150MGLT.
