I liked the story and the missions as a whole. Did have an annoying time in mission 5, as if you are too quick in taking down the shields of the platforms the torpedo streams from the wingmen can destroy them when you are supposed to be capturing them.

Not a bad battle, once I was finally able to get the ship patches working correctly (hint: missions 2 and 5 will not be winnable without the appropriate ship patches). I played on Easy which may have avoided some of the annoyances others had with this battle, but overall it was fun and had an interesting plot.

It‘s ok. Grinding down three stations and two cap ships with lasees by yourself over 35 min is something you can do. But it is just not all that much fun.

This battle is a simple idea executed well. I like simple missions with cohesive stories, and this fit the bill. Like other reviewers, I wasn't thrilled about working with the RS, but the storyline made sense, at least. Blowing up the PLT in the last mission was a nice catharsis, even if I couldn't get there in time to help with the destruction.

Good mission and very original plotline. The missions are challenging yet not impossible, and very fun to fly. Only thing is that last mission can be accomplished without event pulling the trigger. Anyway, a very nice battle and worth a try

Well, battle is good, but it have many bugs. Like all says, few ships hit them self (ie X-wings in first mission) but, critical bug is that BACKGROUND DONT EMIT LIGHT!, and all is black, awful :(

I detected no bugs. In mission 5, I did have a problem because the T/Bs that launched from one of the disabled platforms turned around and crashed into the platform, destroying it. This mission took way too long to complete. Maybe using the ISD II Challenge to get reloads would've been a far better idea, instead of having to fly over 13 clicks towards the SOV hangar. I couldn't complete mission 3 on medium setting, as there are far too many enemy bombers heading for the platform compared to the friendlies intercepting them. And mission 4 was over before I knew it, resulting in a great disappointment. First two missions were okay. So, balancing seems to be the main flaw here, especially in the latter missions. Otherwise, a job well done.

Not a bad battle. However, I have to agree that I don't like teaming up with Rebels, regardless of how dire the circumstances. I'm sure GA Ronin would agree, it is our duty to exterminate all of them anyway. :P I had to give this a 4 because I was disappointed in the last mission since you didn't even get a chance to do anything. Let alone the fact that your hypered into the entirely wrong region, and while your trying and failing to find a new hyperbuoy, the mission is completed. I believe this problem needs a bit of fixing. :P

The story line has the primmest of being a very good idea, but alas the combat sequence turned out to be rather lame. There seems to be no balance to the missions, enemy craft seem to arrive at random, normally just in time to die, or when what ever they were suppose too defend had been either already disabled or destroyed. All the missions could do with some work on the side of the adversary. I must admit even with these faults and a poor adversary in missions, which seems to be rather common occurrence.

It was an interesting idea for a battle. The storyline was good enough. I would've given it a 5 but I would've liked at least 1 huge dogfight, although it was nice to have a change from only having huge battles all the time. Anyway, Good Job!

Very good battle. There are many interesting ideas. Not killing only. But I've one reservation... I hate rebels! Why I must to cooperate with them? Other things are OK ;)

Cannot remember if it's Mission 5 or 6 sorry, but Mission cannot be completed due to only 2 Transports appearing. 5 Cap Ships/Platforms need to be captured but only 2 are.

In mission 2, the shuttle carrying GA Ronin never arrives for the meeting. I've tried it in all difficulty levels, with the same result. I've actually waited for a long time, but no shuttle, and so the mission was impossible to complete.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
First, install all patches as necessary (see patches.txt). Then, install the files into your XWingAlliance directory as follows:
1] Double click the .EHM file, the EH Battle Launcher will install the battle.
2] Check the Misc folder in your XWA for additional material like patches, emails or sounds.
3] In EHBL, create a new "EH Pilot" in the Game Menu (Check "Prepare for EH Battle").
4] Press the X-Wing Alliance button to start XWA and fly the battle.
PLOTLINE
The [Emperor's Hammer] routinely sends out expeditionary forces to new worlds beyond its own borders. [EF-A94] is one of these forces. It is based on the planet of [Andevia], a pristine world untouched by industry or technology. [EF-A94] has always sent its weekly reports on time. However, we have had no contact with them for the past three weeks. All we know is that a bit over a month ago, a [Rebel]-[Squadrons] fleet exited hyperspace near the Andevia system and began taking an interest in the planet itself. Furthermore, the latest report of [RA Dever], the commanding officer of the expeditionary force, expressed doubts about the loyalty and motives of the other high-ranking team members. The [ISD Challenge] is being sent to the [Andevia] system to investigate. You will accompany [Thunder Squadron] as a flight member. Good luck, and may the Force be with you.
