I think the way in which you get flooded by TIEs is pretty neat. All the goals about destroying 50% of the TIEs can be ignored - this mission is really just about destroying the enemy ISD while protecting your ISD and a Muurian that... just sits there in the middle of the battlefield. I have no idea what the Muurian is supposed to be doing, but it makes the mission a lot more difficult than it would otherwise be, and definitely drops it a point (maybe two) for me.

Found this to be a very frustrating mission - so many primary goals! I was slowly getting through them, killing legions of more TIE's and then, well lets just say, it will help you concentrate your fire on the 'enemy' SD ;)

It seems they couldn't decide what the player should fly in this mission: the .txt file said I'd fly a T/D, then the officer guy said I'd fly a MIS, and I ended up in a T/A! :P The plot was OK, and even though you slaughter defenseless T/Fs, it was difficult to save the Muurian that doesn't move. But, I didn't get why the Imps were attacking the EH.

Briefing mentions flying as Tornado and says battle is by Corran Horn, but you fly as Spectre and this battle has a different author (I don't think the compendium listing for authorship is incorrect, just a wrong listing in the mission)

1] Double click the .EHM file, the EH Battle Launcher will install the battle
2] Check the Misc folder in your TIE95 one for additional material like patches, sounds etc.
3] Press the TIE Fighter button on the EHBL to start the game
4] Create a new pilot and fly the first battle
