Hugely enjoyable mission - classic dogfighting with a variety of craft :)
Decent mission with lots of action between fighters, and eventually also against capital ships. Your mission is to protect your fleet, in a very common concept, but in this present example, it worked efficiently. The dogfighting is thick and never wanes and choosing wisely your warheads will help against the caps that eventually show up. Duration was a bit overextended, but nothing catastrophic. Worth a try
Honestly I had no idea what was going on in this mission, probably because I didn't pay enough attention to the briefing. It's a great melee between fighters with some larger ships in the fray, and gets a 3/5 for it.

Debriefing: A rather rough flight, the enemies were endless and relentless however we did fine and came out victorious. |
OOC: This came across as a proof of concept mission for new Balance of Power content. Everything that could be placed on the map was and in a variety of unit types. It seemed very much 'can it handle this much'. Otherwise it flew fine and didn't seem too unmanageable. Some players may however have issues do to the sheer bulk of on screen enemies but I feel it isn't too bad in that sense. It is a nice litmus test to see if you can handle the improvements of Balance of Power over X-Wing vs TIE Fighter. Also this is a Dark Brotherhood Free Mission.
Excellent epic mission. A meat grinder on Hard for those who want more of a challenge.
Definatley one of the best battles i have ever flown.
I thought this battle was great, but as this is the first I've flown, I decided to only award it a 4, but I can't really see them getting much better than this.
Very good battle, hope to see more like this, the plot was great...

Title: Conflict and Honor Game Platform: Balance of Power Created: April 27th, 2000 Designed by: Smyth "Smitroc" Welton Installation: 1] Double click the .EHM file, the EH Battle Launcher will install the battle. 2] Check the Misc folder in your BoP one for additional material like patches, sounds etc. 3] Press the Balance of Power button to start BoP and fly the battle. There is a seperate plotline attached and below I have the mission breifing. Also make sure you have a look at the award you receive for flying this mission :) Briefing: The SSD Avenger will be arriving to intercept the Probe cargo before it is traded between the Republic and local Smugglers. Spectre and Rage will be launch to counter any Republic Strike Craft. There is word that the Republic have 6 stolen Imperial Shuttles that may try to dock with the SSD Avneger, these shuttles may contain a high concentration explosives. If the smugglers choose to attack the Empire, then they will be delt with extreme force, eliminate them all. Never underestimate a retreat either, these probes are to important for the Republic since they would be able to find our hidden Militery Installations this side of the Great Asteroid Field.
