It started promisingly with a nice plotline and decent mission crafting. However it become very repetitive, and all along the assignments felt like a rolling deja-vu every time after the 2nd mission. Not a bad battle, but also there are many more out there to fly before this one.

Well, everyone has to start somewhere. I'm sad to report that this is a pretty charmless battle. A message board run-on does not necessarily make for a great battle, and to make the most of it there should have been many more messages quoting the original... but it was lost to a crash and here we are. The before and after missions feel like padding and aren't given enough of a story. On the plus side, it's incredibly quick to fly on easy. On the negative side, there are plenty of silly orders and dodgy waypoints.

It's a nice concept, but execution leaves a few things to be desired. the last two missions started with wingmen smashing into your cap ship, enemy ships have no orders, etc.

How cute. A battle from before Yoda got a huge sense of humor. It's a nice mixture of easy and hard missions. It features some nice action, but has a few flaws too, so it's like a 3+ or 3,5.

Battles are good and messy, the only downside is that AI craft orders seem rather haphazard. Still worth flying - be great battle when orders are finally sortied out

Mission 1: no mother ship
Mission 2 no mother ship because of next bug mentioned
corvette group Donar all collide with each other and die ~1:30 into mission.
Mission 3: Dread triumph starts at 50% shields.
victory message congratulates the grey wolf but the player is T/A Odin.
Mission 4: no mothership if the player decides to stay and dogfight due to ISD grey wolf leaving. if the CRS Defense is not destroyed right away all future flight groups from X-Wing group Red 4-6 and onwards crash into the CRS upon exiting hyperspace and die. Tie interceptor Odin 5 will often collide with the grey wolf and die at the beginning of the mission.
Mission 5: X-Wing Eagle 3 collides with the dread hope upon exiting hyperspace ~50% of the time. Gunboat Valkyrie crashes into the CRV Triumph 3 exiting hyperspace if there are any of either of them left.

Briefings have been fixed but there are a slew of other problems with this battle.
Mission 2: FRG Vengeance fires on CRVs Donar.
Mission 4: EH craft start far too close to each other, causing collisions. X-Wing Red only attack TIE Interceptors, A-Wing Green only attack T/A Vortex.
Mission 5: ISD Grey Wolf has a patrol\\attack order with no targets. T/I Odin are set to attack installations and starships instead of starfighters. T/A
Crusader only attack Y-Wing Red. T/I Phoenix only attack X-Wing Eagle or A-Wing Green. X-Wing Eagle only attack TIE Interceptors. A-Wing Blue doesn't attack TIE Interceptors.
Mission 6: ISD Grey Wolf flies straight through ESC Corrupter.
