Mostly flying around shieldless TIE/IN, escorting the same ships, fighting the same fighters. In one mission you get to fly a T/D. I'm sure the story is interesting if you know what's going on, but I tried to pay attention and I still didn't get it. It's worth a try if you're looking to get some interceptor practice in, or some easy points.
I really liked this battle, it is a refreshing change to mostly fly an unshielded TIE Interceptor. None of the missions drag on too long and most of them can be lost if you don't pay attention. Bonus points for it being of my vintage - I grew up on the Grey Wolf and the names are all familiar.
I played on Easy. This is another set of missions that looks like it could be fun to play on a higher difficulty. On lower difficulties, your wingmen do most of the job for you, which makes flying a shieldless T/I that much more doable. You do have to kill capital ships sometimes, but the swarms of fighters makes it a breeze.
No overbearing missions or excruciatingly long dogfights here. I feel that the missions were just right. I did enjoy encountering my old Star Viper group and that they are mentioned means their legacy is preserved to a degree. Good mission set but also nothing super special. 4 stars
I liked most of this battle, except for the last mission, only because it didnt make much sense to me storywise. It's ok to fly as a shieldless T/I and there is strength in numbers, the way true Imperial Might is suppsoed to be. Perhaps in the last mission, there could have been a 2nd wave of fighters but that's a nitpick.
Care for flying unshielded space coffins? This is your battle. You will fly the same mission almost identical, over and over again in a T/I with, of course, no shields. Although challenging and fun to fly, it was a bit tedious in the end. What? You hate unshielded TIEs? Walk away from here. On the double!.
I have flown a few battles created by LC Choosh at this point, and they share the same clean and simple design that I tend to enjoy as a SPAM flyer looking to increase his FCHG ranking. I’m happy to fly unshielded craft without warheads, but there were some moments when I wish a different flight group had been assigned to deal with some of the larger targets.
Very good battle. Story and execution are very tight and well polished. Decent difficultly as most missions see you in unshielded craft and often without missles - which, by the way, is explained adequately in the story for why you don't have the missles.
A few of the mission were far too easy. Nice and easy 6 mission battle,which is worth flying just to get the FCHG points
Pretty cool battle, although I hate time limited missions when there are still enemies out there to fight. Some of the missions are just too easy on hard...
Pretty good battle. I used it to test new joy and it went very well :) And thanks to db crash i got high score :P
