Chinese water torture. This is what this is. Fly around in a T/A trying to take down asteroid laser batteries, which circle on you because a crew of armed invincible CUVs are towing them around. A real tedious nightmare. The original concept of the autonomous moving targets was clever, but the mission itself turned out to be a constant, endless suffering, because those asteroids, surely are sturdy. The only small satisfaction comes from the possibility of having the batteries shooting at each other. Skip this mission like the plague.
This mission drove me crazy! I kept dying almost instantly in some cases without running into the asteroids. This mission takes a lot of tactical thought to beat! I appreciate the thought that went into creating such a strategic mission, but I really recommend not flying this on hard unless you're going for the points. It's liable to give you a headache.
An entertaining mission with an inventive twist. With due respect to the mission creator and Ford, I'm not a big fan of missions with in-jokes, but one isn't going to find another mission like this for awhile. Perhaps it was just me, but when I played it on Hard, I really didin't seem to be attacked by the "MiniFords". Might have been my tactics, might have been a glitch... Dunno.
This is a very fun free mission, and a nice diversion from the normal TIE Defender melange. The plot is amusing and well thought out, and the gameplay is very different (read the briefing and you'll see :P). It's somewhat tedious to do flyby after flyby of the asteroids after a while, but overall, it's action packed, and very enjoyable. It isn't that difficult, even on hard, but it's definitely an interesting one to play. Check it out if you'd like a change from the norm.

The attached mission was created for the Mascot Battles for the TIE design. The mission plot was created by LCM Stark while the mission was created by COL Stele Pellaeon. We received 3rd place for our efforts. Plotline: A pilot, you, have been convicted of CoC violations. You have been sentenced to face the wrath of Wing II's mascots, the MiniFords. The mission takes place in a remote region of EH space where there are laser asteroids. The MiniFords are piloting Ford Ego powered CUVs, which makes them invincible, and are carrying the laser asteroids as they attack the pilot. The pilot has a chance to survive if he/she can destroy all 5 asteroids. Once completed, the DREAD Athena will come to pick up the convicted pilot.
