Simple mission, but I had fun... I never fought against the Liners!

Very well-constructed battle. Trying to balance between destroying the escaping ships, defending yourself from starfighters, and defending other Imperial craft is a great challenge. The plotline made sense, and everything fit well together. Technical flaws were minimal. The mission was very enjoyable.

This is one of the best free missions that I’ve played. There are some things, like the impossibility of completing all of the bonus goals, that are sort of unfair and annoying, but they can be overlooked. This is a pretty challenging, fun, and well-written mission that I recommend for people to fly when they are looking for just that single mission. I give it a 4.75 (rounded up to a 5 for purposes of the EH review scale.)

Good mission, a little hard in some spots but I enjoyed it

This mission had a good plot that was made better by an excellent telling. The play was fairly complex too. It can be quite difficult to get the timing right, and it's tempting to get some easy bonus kills and accidentally let the mission critical crafts escape.

Not a bad mission. Quite complex and will trap the unwary pilot. A very nice animated briefing too. Quite challenging on hard difficulty level. A credit to the creator.

possible bug - are all bonus objectives achieveable in Hard? The four 'picket craft' fly off in different directions, and even at top speed, all energy to engines and using orders to destroy one of the vessels, I could not take out all four. Did I miss something?

Title: FREE-TIE Mission "Reconcile a Rebel Dispute" Missions: 1 (FREE-TIE) Medal: None Game Platform: TIE95, TIECD Author: FL/ LT Zodiak/ Dagger 3-1/ Wing IX/ ISD Relentless - Creator LCM Adam Lagoda, LCM Talon Ray Hunter, CM Kane MAJ Tethys - Beta testing Required patches ---------------- * none Installation instructions -------------------------- 1] Double click the .EHM file, the EH Battle Launcher will install the battle 2] Check the Misc folder in your TIE95 one for additional material like patches, sounds etc. 3] Press the TIE Fighter button on the EHBL to start the game 4] Create a new pilot and fly the first battle DESCRIPTION: You have been assigned to Dagger squadron and sent on Deep Recon with Task Force "Ares". Two Modified Corvettes have been your only friend for days while you rush to a remote region of the Outer Rim; the great Dreadnaught "Ares" waiting on standby as the Corvettes "Thunderer" and "Stormer" lurch out of hyperspace to reveal a place devoid of planets. You are seated into your briefing chair and told that you are to disrupt a Rebel treaty. The multicolored blips of enemy ships from three seperate factions dance in front of your eyes as the Commander of the "Thunderer" taps his fingers impatiently on his clipboard. The Wookies and the Mugaari pirates are signing a Peace and Emancipation accord that will free hundreds of enslaved Wookies on the Mugaari mining planets. In return, some of the pirates have agreed to move to Kashyyk for indentured servitude for a period not exceeding five years. This is a tremendous sacrifice for the pirates, and they do not like signing this proclamation, but pressure from the New Republic and a potential alliance with the Rebels have forced the Mugaari's hand. The Wookies and the Mugaari and the Rebels all mutually do not trust each other; that is why they have come to the Deep Rim Territories, but their distrust goes much farther....all the Forces within 100 clicks of the Treaty signing are completely unarmed....in passenger liners! It will be like shooting ducks in a barrel! Your job is to disrupt the peace accord by disabling the passenger liners, and allowing ATR's to capture citizens of all three races for imprisonment(for the Rebs) or forced labor upon our own planets. Besides, most of the Mugaari pirates are wanted by Imperial forces, regardless. If we could kidnap plenty of the peace-lovers, then the fragile peace between those three races will collapse, because everyone will blame the other for what went wrong, plus all confidence in the Rebel's ability to protect them from The Emperor's Hammer will have been dashed. You are lucky, as well; recent developments aboard the new Tech-lab on the Imperial Star Destroyer "Relentless" have made available to us a group of shielded droid TIE fighters and bombers. They will be deployed with you to test on this mission. Dagger Flight II will be on standby, as well, to aid in the disabling of the passenger liners.
