From Tempest Squadron CMDR MAJ Morgoth:

Since joining Tempest as a Flight Leader, Cpt. Grendel has become an indispensable member of our Squadron and our command staff.
He leads from the front, be it leading members into combat or dragging members along and forcing them to rack up kills. He has the highest number of missions flown in the Squadron month after month and his kill counts reflect his superb skills in the cockpit.
He is an outspoken member of the squadron and motivates all members of the TIE Corps. His impressive string of Silver and Bronze Stars is enough to see him promoted.
But when you add in all that he does for this Squadron and the TIE Corps as a whole there is absolutely no reason he shouldn't be among the highest ranking in this organization.
Since taking over as XO of Tempest, Grendel has carried the flag for this Squadron in my absence, and helped push us to a 3rd place finish in ReMob. I honestly don't think I could be in the position I am in without him making sure I'm doing things right and keeping our pilots in line.
It is my great pleasure to recommend Cpt. Grendel be promoted to the rank of Major.

On behalf of the Training Officer, it is my pleasure to present the second issue of the EH academic journal, Proceedings! In this issue, you will find four theses written by our very talented scholars, as well as some remarks from some of the Training Office Assistants and other Command Staff members.

This issue is very special to the Training Office, as it commemorates two years of Admiral Sylas Pitt's tenure as Training Officer. On the occasion of this release, Sylas would like to add that: "as the Training Officer, it brings me nothing but joy to see how the Imperial University has expanded and grown since my assignment, and I hope to continue to bring our membership more courses and academic developments."

While reviewing historical materials, we recently identified that dates and events displayed as official on our Galactic Timeline were not correctly synchronized. This problem began a couple years ago while we were trying to fix a different issue but ended up introducing a new one in the process. After discussing a couple of options among senior leadership, correcting the error and adjusting dates as necessary was selected as the best option.

The official EH timeline has been corrected as shown on the timeline wiki article. The immediate impact of this correction is that ABY years have been incremented by 1 to correctly synchronize Emperor's Hammer and Star Wars events. The current year is 33 ABY.

What has been updated:

• Key wiki articles such as the Galactic Timeline and EH Plotline have been updated.
• A number of non-personal wiki articles, such as ships, squadrons, and information articles about specific events (e.g., recent campaigns) have been updated. Corrected articles will show "eh timeline fix" in the recent edit history.
• All known areas of the web site that displayed some information in ABY have been updated - the campaign descriptions specifically.
• Web site functions that generate dates in ABY (e.g., news articles) will be updated in the near future following our normal code review procedure.

What has not been updated:

• Personal articles for members/characters will not be updated. We're leaving this as an exercise to the writers of those articles to update as appropriate due to the volume of articles, as well as complexity in some of these articles and high potential for introducing errors.
• Member fiction will not be updated. Please contact me directly if you need help updating some ABY dates in your uploaded content on the web site.

Member content written prior to the change in 2021 is likely already using the correct ABY date.

MAJ Alexandre Ossus Morgan has been a Major since April of 2023 and has earned MSE medals 12 times since then. Everything from ISMs to an SS.
During that time he was a Squadron Commander, a Flight Member and now that he has again become a Squadron Executive Officer, he has earned more than the required 10 merit medals needed to rise to the rank of Lieutenant Colonel.
Since his last promotion he has taken part in many competitions, and has created and run one called Rho's Rhythmic Rumble for his Squadron, has consistently earned medals, even while working a full time job in the morning so he could do full time college courses in the afternoon. He also spearheaded our efforts in Rho during ReMob. Through his hard work and his development of wise strategies we were able to finish every tier in the event. Taking on some tiers almost singlehandedly. His knowledge of all things EH has made him a rock that many have leaned on, myself included. His consistency has made him one of the most reliable people in all of EH.
The potential this young man has is astounding and I’m honored to be in Rho with him and it’s a pleasure to be the one submitting this.
There is no more promising a pilot than the pilot who is excited he’s here, ready to bring justice forcefully to the Rebels. So I hereby, and very proudly, recommend Alexandre Ossus Morgan be given the rank of Lieutenant Colonel for the month of June 2024.

The Training Office is proud to announce the creation of a new course, TIE Fighter Total Conversion Mission Design. Put together by CPT Jagged Fell III, this course covers the TIE Fighter Total Conversion (TFTC) mod for X-Wing Alliance (XWA) as a supported platform for custom EH missions. The content of this guide is taken from experience using the different hooks and features.

Since taking on the open Theta Commander position in the Fifth Imperial month of year 30 ABY, Lieutenant Colonel Vapen Van'an has provided strategic leadership to his Battlegroup in Imperial Storm V and Imperial Storm VI, and was instrumental in our success Raising the Flag to become the current Flag Bearing Battlegroup of the TIE Corps Fleet.

Along the way he has amassed nearly 400 Legions of Combat, almost 2000 Legions of Skirmish, and six Imperial University Certifications to set a broad example for Theta Squadron. Of equal importance, he has filed 50 updates to the Imperial Holo-Records in the form of Squadron Reports to preserve Theta Squadron's history and culture into perpetuity.

A dedicated voice of critical thinking on matters large and small in Fleet Business, a dangerous Pilot in Theaters of Combat, an ally and trusted friend, Lieutenant Colonel Vapen Van'an now selects this moment as the time to pass the baton of leadership for Theta Squadron to Lieutenant Commander Matt Brass.

Returning to the active TIE Corps Fleet at the end of the Second Imperial month of the current year, incoming Commander-to-be Matt Brass has represented Theta Squadron broadly with skill in the cockpit, and dedication to his records maintenance in Uniform Updates and Imperial Navy Personnel records. Most impressively, he has demonstrated prowess as a scholar in earning five Imperial University Certificates, and has submitted additional narrative records to the Imperial Database.

As we prepare to defend our title as Flag Bearing Battlegroup for the TIE Corps Fleet, we celebrate Commander Matt Brass' placement and his selection of Lieutenant Commander Jai Thorne as his new Squadron Executive Officer. Lieutenant Commander Jai Thorne helps secure Theta Squadron's future with nearly equivalent accomplishments in Theaters of Combat, Imperial University scholarship, and dedication to the culture and records of our fleet.

As we continue to gain pilots, the roster is once again expanding to meet the demand. Scorpion Squadron has been opened in Wing XXII aboard the MC90 Renegade in Battlegroup III. Like the other squadrons on the Renegade, it's an Infiltrator Wing unit so they'll be flying Rebel craft to confuse and surprise the enemy. The enemies we're encountering in the Chaos won't generally hesitate to fire on Rebel ships either, but we'll take every moment of hesitation we can get and opportunities for subterfuge do sometimes present themselves.

Scorpion Squadron's CMDR will be GN Jarek La'an, who'd been serving as a Flight Member in Typhoon Squadron and continues to serve as the Communications Officer for the Emperor's Hammer overall. Good luck in your new role!
