Fun mission flying the TIE/Pr (which is basically a T/D in a T/A body with a red cockpit). Missions were straight forward and the difficulty levels were appropriate and functioned. Noted that Mission 2 on Hard seems to be unable to be completed, Y-wings hyper in and immediately leave, and as such you cannot meet mission objectives.

I flew this as part of Raise the Flag competition 2021. Overall, the battle seemed straightforward with no major hang-ups. There is not much to say about it. It was fun but the battle did not contain any elements that makes it stand out from nearly every other battle you have ever flown.

Fairly enjoyable missions. Not too bad paced either. The final mission, be sure to go straight for the station with advanced torpedoes and eject if needed to get more torpedoes faster.

This one is fine - just OK. It's not very memorable from the rest of the Praetorian series, which means this one again is just take down x number of crafts, destroy x base, that's it. Not really a variety of crafts. The last mission failed the first time I played it, second time around I ignored the fighters and just went straight for the station and it worked.

I played on Easy. This was my least favorite Praetorian Elite battle that I've played so far. You play in ridiculously slow ships the entire time (killing A-Wings is nearly impossible in these scrap heaps) and the mission designer decided that missile spam is fun. If you like having the constant droning of the missile-lock alarm and losing control of your craft constantly, this is for you.

A decent set of missions. However, there was no variety in mission objectives. Just dogfight and eliminate. Some of the fights required tactical awareness to remove major threats first, but it was still only kill or be killed

I liked this one as a concept and a battle but the objectives in the Praetorian series are always a bit suspect. I believe this was the last of the series and in a way kudos to its creator. His skills improved as the battles went on, but it cannot go above 3, too many in-game flaws.

Unfortunately, last of the Praetorian saga was not good at all. Tedious, linear and somehow limited in the tactical planning, this one has deluded me. Although featuring the God Fighter, some missions turned out to be fatiguing and deprived of thrill and fun. After so many good battles it is sad to see the whole saga to be concluded this way. Fly elsewhere

I think the name of this battle should be changed to "Ace Combat: Star Wars Edition". The first couple of missions look nice, but the rest is very repetitive. You face waves and waves of enemy fighters, all carrying missiles. You'll be constantly pursued by missiles. Sometimes you destroy one and another gets shot immediatly. That becomes stupid in the last mission, when you have to evade the missiles and also destroy some craft that will hyperspace in less than a minute.

Another good one in the prae series; however, mission five is a bit annoying with a massive amount of missiles fired at your fighter (via rebel starfighters & facilities/weapon emplacements);p.
2024-09-15
Mission 1: R-41 Neil never attacks anything, simply patrols for craft to attack. System patrol craft Bilbringi is destroyed when the CRL Ark Royal exits hyperspace and crashes into it. The Ark Royal leaves immediately, meaning FG Craw leaves immediately and SHU warrior and trn lanader never arrive.
Mission 2: Bonus goals are impossible to complete as CRV Talar has a bonus goal to be disabled and not be disabled at the same time. TUG Yardwork has a bonus goal of must complete mission/be destroyed, meaning it is impossible to do both unless you disable the CRV, let it board the CRV then destroy it after. Factory has starfighter orders. After the tug docks with the corvette the corvette begins attacking the containers and factory instead of leaving with the spy.
2023-09-03
Mission 1: System Patrol Craft gets hit by the VSD and dies. There is a bonus point goal for the System patrol craft dying.
Mission 5: There is a bonus for destroying the Assault Gunboat group Cobra. Laser Battery bonus goal awards 0 points.

Throughout: Fighter squadrons on both sides share global unit numbers, which leads to slightly confusing numbering among the Rebel craft.
Mission 2: EH squadrons have the disable order (this is apparent in briefing also) when the objective is to destroy 75% of the Rebel attackers.
Mission 3: Rebel MUTR, SHU and ETR are unnamed.
