A continuation of the Praetorian series. Mission 3 felt unnecessarily difficult, even on Easy. A few missions featured good protection objectives that added a layer of challenge. Overall though, a good battle flying the always interesting TIE/Pr.

fun times with the ego buffing TIE Prae. I enjoyed this one more than some of the other Prae missions, but there were a few sections that could have benefited from better pacing (I'm looking at you, long wait for a transport to board!)

Just when you thought you could rely on the Praetorian to pull you through any situation a dempseyesque VSD appears and spoils the party. That shuttle will die even after destroying most of the turrets and sending all the wingmen at it. The Praetorian is becoming a guilty pleasure and I've started to get used to the red interior.

This battle left me with mixed emotions. On one side, you get to fly the God Fighter, and this makes the missions, as always, worth flying. However, in mission 2 there is an endless waiting of over 6 minutes for an ATR to capture some E/S, and in another mission, a SHU which is supposed to be protected until reaching ISD Intrepid, after slaughtering dozens of cockroaches, erm, alphabet fighters, a VSD appears obliterating the tiny Shuttle, failing the mission. Pay attention to the details or you'll end up reflying it. Those 2 minor nuisances aside, the battle is a very good one, yet far from some of the jewels of the Praetorian saga.

I only have 2 "humbugs"on this battle. A long wait time in mission 2, and all those freighters?? Overall, enjoyable flying.

Another nice battle in the Prae series that kinda was in limbo for a year or so (Ric was too busy as CMDR to finish these battles often). The missions feature a rich dogfighting environment. If you want a challenge try finishing all the missions on hard difficulty;p.
