It's a loving tribute from one of the all-time greats of mission design of a fun time in my EH career where I had two very demanding bosses, and I could not be more grateful for it... it is also HARD but it is hard very quick, in that you'll likely fail within the first 90 seconds if you're going to fail at all. A fun XvT free!
Never thought I'd be so happy to see a Frodo mission. It has his usual blend of humor, which after flying so many joyless flights I gotta say, I don't mind Grandma waving goodbye in this one. As for mechanics, you're in a slowboat, and you have to disable and protect a shuttle. Fair enough. The choice of opposition is strange, however, and you're deducted points for odd reasons. I recommend it for points only, or if you're for whatever reason flying the Frodo Compendium.
I cannot imagine myself attempting any of Frodo's battles on hard. This is about average on the Frodo scale. I did like visiting grandma's house for some cookies.
Another crazy, hilarious creation from Frodo. The mission itself is quite simple, barely disabling and dogfighting T/Is, but was somehow the time invested in it. There are better things from Frodo out there to try out, but this is not bad either. Quick and fast 1 point worth of FCHG.
Very challenging mission on the Hard setting, those TIs will have you at close range. Great idea for a humorous plot. And blowing up a few 'Cloners is rather good :P
Ok, the plot is very funny and the mission is bug free and worthy to fly. BUT!! You made me to dogfight in a GUN! I HATE GUNs. And not only that but you made me to dogfight... against Cyclone, my current Squadron!! And... and... You made Cyclone to be an assortment of... of TIE Interceptors!!... >:F... No more than 3 for this one!
This is a free mission from last years Tactical Office Iron Mission creation competition (one of the missions creaed during the final rounds). Keep in mind the creator only had a short time to put the mission togeather where the TAC & TCBG vied over the possesion of Locke's abilities. It's a fairly quick mission to complete, even though dogfighting in a GUN isn't my cup of tea;p.
