It is certainly a great time to be alive, as all around you history ebbs and flows, drawing into it anyone in its path. Including, it would seem, you. Here you sit, in the uncomfortable robes of an Apprentice in the Dark Brotherhood of the Emperor  s Hammer, one white-clad figure in a room full of white-clad figures. Your journey here had not been an easy one, but one thing served as your motivation and your nourishment: the Force.

Your budding abilities in the Dark Side of the Force confused you, scared you... thrilled you. You sought out guidance from someone, anyone... and that is how you ended up on Eos, the moon of Aurora Prime. You and your peers all came for the same reason - power - and it is here, in a classroom of the Shadow Academy of the Dark Brotherhood, that you can take your first steps towards that goal. First, however, you must get through the first phase of your training. Rumors spread like wildfire that the instructor, the Headmaster himself, tolerated no mistakes by his pupils and meted out punishment for the slightest infraction. You have little time to ponder and worry, however, as the notorious man steps through the door. Rather diminutive at barely over five feet and clad simply in a worn forest-green cloak, you begin to wonder if your fears had been unfounded. His gaze slowly scans across the room and as his eyes meet yours, however, you feel that maybe the rumors didn  t actually come close to meeting the truth of this man  s power. That was what you wanted - the power to strike fear with a simple glance. One day, you could equal that man's abilities. First, however, you have to get through the basics...
