The Dark Brotherhood (DB) is one of the largest groups of an online Star Wars organization called the Emperor  s Hammer. The Emperor  s Hammer is lead by a group of individuals, each tasked with specific duties, known as the Command Staff. The Brotherhood was founded upon the lore and history of the Sith, powerful Force-users who manipulate the Dark Side of the Force.

Sithi are followers of darkness, of the power and corruption of the Dark Side; in their communication with the Force they are little different from users of the Light Side, yet in the control and purpose of their power they could not be further apart. The Jedi are little more than mindless slaves to their greater good, they live to serve the Force and to maintain its balance - we are the Force, we manipulate the Dark Side to do our bidding - we are the true masters of the Fates.

The Brotherhood is led by a Dark Council (DC), a small body of powerful Force-users directly responsible for the maintenance and smooth running of the group. They lead as a dictatorship under the direction of a sovereign Grand Master (GM) - the Dark Lord of the Sith. Presiding over the Dark Council, the Grand Master has sweeping authority over the entire group, personally overseeing all Clans and Houses. The Dark Council preside over promotions, awards, Arts of Vendetta, training, design, as well as the leadership for each Clan or House within the Dark Brotherhood. This council is a very powerful and accomplished group of Sith who hold all the power within the Brotherhood. To disagree and attack a Dark Council member  s character is asking for instantaneous execution.
