Our 10th Lambda's Star Wars Trivia is now out. The pilot with the fastest time (even if you don't get all the questions right), will earn +1 point.

There was no Lambda Expedition this week. I will arrange one very soon. The rebels are already trembling in their cockpits.

The end of November, brings up the monthly results of several competitions. Our various winners are listed below. For more information, you can see the drill-down in the Lambda Competition Standings

• Graf is the winner of the Lambda University for November with eight IUs! Xye is a close second with one IU.
• Meanwhile, Xye is the winner of the Lambda Trivia for November with a total of 21 points. Graf took second with 13 points and Shub is sitting comfortably in third place with 9.
• The road of squadrons is paved with this month's end of operations. The ranked fleet rating (Hotshot 1) and win rate (0.52) is won by Xye, while the kill-to-death ratio goes to Graf with 1.41.
• A closely fought competition was Spot the Error, with Xye tipping just ahead of Graf with 8 points, despite the late attempt of a comeback by Graf at 7 points. The 'real winner' of that competition however, was Genie who managed to get 11 errors past the entire squadron. Let's see what December will bring!

• Know your sheep from your wolves - Trivia: The 10th week of trivia has started: Week 10 (6th Dec - 13th Dec 2020)
• Spot the Error!: Every week, the Lambda Squadron Weekly Report will have intentional errors. Can you find them? Unintended errors will also win you points. Lately, several intentional errors have been getting through!
• Lambda University (IWATS): We nurture both our bodies and our minds.
• Lambda executes Emperor Hammer Directive: Starting from November, one TIE Fighter, XvT, and XWA battle will be selected each month for Lambda to complete.

• Lambs turn to Wieners (Squadrons): Squadrons Win Ratio (highest between ranked fleets and dogfights applies)
• Lambdas never die (Squadrons): Squadrons Highest Kills to Deaths Ratio (highest between ranked fleets and dogfights applies).

Hammer Competitions:

• Hammer pilot of the month - 2020: For every flown SP mission from the TC mission compendium and for every LoC/LoS earned each pilot receives 1 point for the Hammer pilot of the month competition.
• Trivia for the Hammered: One trivia question every weekday, sent via email. Who is the fastest on the buzzer!?

TIE Corps Competitions:

• Squadrons Completionist: A race for the entire TC on who will complete all the achievements of the Squadrons game first.
• TC PvP Shootout: Organized by AD Miles, COL Horus and CM EvilGrin. On every Saturday, starting at 22:00 GMT, a PvP shootout will take place.
• Everyone's a Critic: Flown a battle? Write a USEFUL review!
• TIE Corps in Battle 2020: Every month, there will be a full battle assigned to fly, from each of the major SP platforms (TIE, XvT, XWA).

Notable Events:

• LCM MrShub Star Wars Streaming: Hosted by LCM Shub, streaming every Tuesday and Thursday.
• CM Baiet Star Wars and Star Conflict Streaming: Hosted by CM Baiet, several hours spread over the week.
• Alejandro's Youtube Corner: A place where COL Alejandro regularly uploads videos of his activities with the modded XWA.
• The TIE Pilot's Podcast: Hosted by COL Zekk Terrik and CM Jack Wynand.

I had a major computer crash, blue screens galore. Win10 is typically shying away from that. After a full day of troubleshooting, removing and or updating several drivers, praying to the Gods, sacrificing a rebel at the altar, eating some beetroots and resisting using an actual hammer to resolve the problem; some way, somehow just as I started to lose hope, the computer is now ok. I believe it was its fear of getting hammered or perhaps the beetroots. Definitely the beetroots.
