RHO SQUADRON REPORT #19 |
REPORTING OFFICER: Rear Admiral Alexandre Morgan, Squadron Commander RECIPIENTS: General Gilbert H. Frown, Wing II; cc: Rho Squadron DATE SUBMITTED: 07.04.2023 |
SQUADRON COMMANDER'S CORNER |
(The month of effort, of concentration for group efforts, of camaraderie and teamwork and bonding - it was over. And the payoff was massive: Rho Squadron Commander Alexandre Morgan could see so plainly the effect it had. The pilots were now friends; the group, now a community; the squadron, now a family. Morgan was sitting down at his desk, looking at the data. He swelled with pride at the squadron’s clean sweep of the goals set before them, their 100% that exceeded all expectations and hopes, and was just as proud of the effort each member of the squadron had obviously put in to accomplish this task. Only with everyone’s help had the impossible happened, and now the squadron stood tall in its achievement. Morgan pulled out his datapad, the squadron report in mind. He had waited too long to get started because the squadron was too busy celebrating - why let the paperwork get in the way of fun? He opened the pad to begin writing, but a priority notification popped up in the screen, preventing him from writing: Alexandre Morgan: Priority Notification Grand Admiral Rapier Requests Your Urgent Attention Rho Squadron Briefing Room @ 1600 Re: Ship Opportunity Morgan’s heart rate at least doubled. He had never talked with the Grand Admiral before, and this sounded of quite the serious nature. Ship opportunity? What did that possibly mean? He acknowledged the notification to make it go away, jotted it quickly down on his calendar, and sat down to write the quickest report of his life…) Pilots of Rho Squadron, Congratulations to all! This month saw nothing short of spectacular events, but the headlining news: Rho Squadron fully completed Squadron (Re)Mobilization 5! A feat completed by only one other squadron, I am proud of each and every pilot and the things we can do when united. More importantly, however, I am proud of the way the group came together: the Rho family was often out in full force, showing the TIE Corps what can happen when you build the right community, the right bunch of people working together. Fictions were written, Wiki articles were created, single player sims were mastered, and multiplayer sims were played until we had hit all of the goals. The accomplishments of this month are unending, but I won’t be too long-winded here! Besides our accomplishments in ReMob, we had Rho Squadron pilots heading up killboards this month, too! Taking first place on the Single Player killboard by a large margin of 30 missions is our own LC Westric Davalorn, and third place our COL fr0Zen. These pilots led our efforts in single player missions and I’m proud to see them recognized Corps-wise for their impressive work there. Second place on the Multiplayer PvP killboard, with a staggering 391 victories, is our LT Ispep! A master of the SWTOR sim, he blew us away this month with his flights, and I am very excited to see his placement in reward for that! On the PvE side of things, Maston Dane, Isabis Kamaria, and fr0Zen took fifth, sixth, and ninth places, a more than respectable place considering the giant names that are surrounding them! Congratulations to all on these wonderful achievements. Adding to our tally of achievements are the promotions of Maston Dane and Isabis Kamaria from LT to LCM! Although Maston's didn’t happen during the month of June, it was before this report came out, so I might as well include it! You two both have earned this without hesitation, and I'm glad command agreed with my recommendation. Well done, you both! Although ReMob is over, other competitions still run! Check out Dav’s two competitions that are still running hot in the competition section below! Truly fantastic performance this ReMob, pilots! I’m proud to be in y’all’s squadron and family, and I look forward to a restorative July! And, per the teaser above - keep your eyes peeled for news about a special surprise reward for our ReMob success… For the Empire! Long may it reign. |

The full list of current competitions can be found in the Competitions Center.
War(rior) Correspondents (Davalorn) General Frown has requested that all pilots begin recording their heroic exploits to be used for propaganda, recruiting, and boosting morale for the folks back home. Pilots are encouraged to use in-game methods (such as turning off HUD elements) to improve the quality of their screenshots. Winning submissions for each category will be determined at the end of each month by a popular vote. For July, the category is Star Conflict.
Wondering Warriors Trivia (Davalorn) Five trivia questions will be sent out each week using the Timed Test feature on the site. Correct answers earn points and the quickest response times (time taken between starting and submitting test) get more points!
