March has come to an end and, as Genie's Discord signature always lets us know, Easter is around the corner. March also saw the TC achieve a hard fought stalemate glorious victory over the Ishtari bugs! Lambda played a key part in this victory, putting up a whopping 2069 (nice) LoSs and 319 LoCs for the entire event. That means that Lambda did an astonishing 56.8% of the 3642 total Hammer LoS and 32.3% of the 6392 total TC LoS, as well as 48.2% of the 661 total Hammer LoC and 33.7% of the total 946 TC LoC. Congratulations to all of you who flew, you were instrumental in defeating the Ishtari and I'm proud of all of you who participated!

As you'd expect from what I just said, Lambda also did extremely well on the March Killboards, taking multiple spots in every category. Wolve earned a respectable 4th place in the SP category with 70 missions and he hit the coveted rank of Imperator along the way! It's a milestone that only 6 other pilots have ever earned in the history of the TC, so our own Hammerhead is now part of an elite club! Good job, Wolve! In the SP category, we also saw Ranger got 9th place with 24 missions completed. In PvE, Gytheran achieved 2nd place with an impressive 1,068 victories, Solohan50 got 4th place with 539 victories, Genie got 5th place with 494 victories, and Wolve got 6th place with 441 victories. In PvP, we saw four of our pilots earn top 10 placements. Gytheran earned 5th place with 115 PvP victories, Genie earned 8th place with 79 victores, Wolve earned 9th place with 62 victories and DemWookieeCheeks squeezed those cheeks into 10th place with 55 victories!

On top of all of this, many Lambda pilots managed to find time to ensure that Lambda defends its 1st place finish in the last TCIB by earning 1st place in Round One of TIE Corps in Battle Season 6. Lambda saw five pilots participate and this was crucial in securing our place as the 1st place squadron with 48 points, though we still have Tempest right on our tail with 39 points. We also managed to get the 1st place spot in all three platforms, with Genie taking 1st place in TIE Fighter and Wolve taking 1st place in both X-Wing vs TIE Fighter and X-Wing Alliance, as well as taking 3rd place in TIE Fighter as well! This performance has also led to the Hammer having a sizable lead over the other ships with Hammer pilots earning a whopping 90 points for Round One! With Imperial Storm behind us, I hope that we can focus on TCIB even more and make even stronger performances in the upcoming rounds.

In other news, we saw an empty spot open up with the reassignment of Dev Morgan to the Reserves. Hopefully he'll find his way back to the TC eventually!

On a more positive note, I want to congratulate TheBlackxRanger on both his promotion to the rank of Major as well as becoming Lambda's new FL! We also saw Solohan50 get promoted to LC, but he's just a dumb Ewok so who cares?

All in all, I want to say that it's been an honor to fly with all of you and to lead this ragtag group of misfits into victory. There's literally no other squadron that I'd want to be the CMDR of and that's because of everyone's dedication and hard work (and I suppose I like you guys too!). I appreciate everything you all did to ensure the TC's victory in Imperial Storm and the continued work you do to nurture and improve this organization. Keep up the good work everyone!

Tip of the Month: In X-Wing Alliance you get points for killing enemy pilots who ejected and are floating in space. Make sure to mop them up for a few extra points!

Creatine Corner

In this month's Creative Corner, I wanted to highlight a video that was created by our very own Wolve. He's becoming quite a talented video editor. This Ewok will need to see how he feels about editing videos of a more...fuzzy variety! Ewoks are notoriously bad with technology and I seem to be unable to embed the video here, so a link will have to suffice!

Competitions and Events

Highlighted Competitions:

There are various competitions held by several EH pilots. Currently in the spotlight, we have the following competitions:

• TIE Corps in Battle Season 6: A four-month long battle between squads and BGs for single-player supremacy!
• SWTOR Conquest 2: The Search For More Money: A four-month long competition to see who can earn the most Conquest in SWTOR. Organized by Lambda's own Jawa, Gytheran.
• SWTOR: Galactic Seasons IV: A 20-week long competition to see who can complete the Galactic Seasons fastest. Also organized by Lambda's own Jawa, Gytheran.
• Lambda Squadrons - Squadrons with Lambduh: A weekly Lambda get-together where we fly Squadrons. It runs from Feb 10, 2023 to May 1, 2023 Organized by Solohan.
• Spot the Error!: Incompetent CMDRs no right reports gud. Organized by Genie, now run by Solohan (now with even more errors!).

Be sure to check out all the running competitions. As Lambdas, to know the competitions you are eligible for, under "Units Involved" it must be listed as "TIE Corps", "Battlegroup I", or "Lambda Squadron".

Closing Comments

It's been quite a busy month for Lambda between Imperial Storm, TCIB, and our weekly get-togethers and I'm sure I'm not the only one looking forward to a little break in the action. It'll be nice to have some more time to focus on TCIB or to get through the backlog of things that piled up during Imperial Storm. Make sure to rest up and gather your strength, as Remob and RTF will be here before you know it!
