EPSILON SQUADRON REPORT #3 |
REPORTING COMMANDER: General La'an |
SQUADRON NEWS |
Welcome all to another Epsilon report, covering items of note that have affected us in the preceding 2 weeks. Our main focus has clearly been the ongoing Imperial Storm 4. I'd like to draw particular attention to our participants so far - LCM Isagar Sho'oter, CPT Gytheran and COL Pellaeon. IARs have been authorised for the LCM and CPT, with more to hopefully come - well done! The most recent battle between ourselves and the Challenge task group resulted in the Second Battle of Lao-Mon - a defeat for the Hammer, but little better than a pyrrhic victory for the Challenge based on the dozens of vessels destroyed (albeit virtually) on either side. The conflict continues, so as we emerge from Turn 18 remember to keep alert and ready for our next battle. 4 of 12 Epsilon pilots have participated so far, which leaves plenty of room for improvement. While the Hammer is trailing, a route still exists for higher placement and it will depend on all of us flying and pulling our weight! In other news, I'm continuing to monitor our ongoing efforts with the Chalquila Cup and TIE Corps in Battle. In the former, we continue to deliver victory after victory thanks to Cpt Gytheran and his team. While I know that scheduling these combats is difficult, clearly Epsilon's team has what it takes to win - that being said, real life will alw For TCIB - the final round is upon us and we have until 2359 on May 8th to submit pilot files. Epislon isn't on the board yet and the Hammer is trailing a distant 3rd - this round might be lost, but let's get our eye in and prep for the next. Details and assignments are linked below, fly for the highest scores we can muster; |

CLOSING COMMENTS |
Imperial Storm remains ongoing, so lets continue to keep pressing hard - it's by no means decided yet and I suspect that more battles will follow soon. An imminent Challenge on Warrior clash will be a great opportunity to rest our own pilots, but it won't be for long! Standby for details from COL Genie and staty in touch! End transmission, GN La'an |
