The new website is humming along
rather nicely and it certainly makes our lives easier at Combat
Operations. (Again, thanks Turtle!)
The
IO does ask if you notice any issues, to report them to the IO Incoming Issues Queue on GitHub
Work
will formally begin on the Combat Operations Exam refit. First
phase is writing out the notes (which may very well come from
the Combat Ops Manual in the Wiki), second phase is refitting
the questions, third phase is getting approval from the rest of
the Board + the Training Officer.
And
if you haven't already, I definitely recommend coming to either
the Friday Casual Battlefront 2 or Saturday Shootout events. You
get to take a load off, meet new people and shoot them. Or you
get to reunite with old friends and shoot them. Or shoot me,

Saturday Shootouts
The TIE Corps will be on high alert beginning at 6PM EST (11pm GMT) every Saturday, when we will scramble as many fighters as available. A member of the Combat Operations Office organize one or more groups. The game played will be determined by the pilots online, which could be multiple simultaneous games across groups of pilots. One PvP game played, on a supported platform, with at least one other enlisted TIE Corps pilot as part of a Shootout group, will earn you one point. Ten games played will earn you an IS-CW, with a maximum of one earned per day. The numbers of matches played will be recorded by an available member of the COO team. (Wins are not required.) Please note: if you are already signed up for an event such as SPL or 3PO, practice and scheduled matches take priority! |

Approval
Criteria:
At
least 1 kill or 1 objective with a winning match. You may submit
a 0 kill scoresheet so long as your scoreboard matches up
accordingly. For Star Wars Squadrons you must have at a minimum
200 score to be considered productive
Modifiers
for Squadrons are to either be pre-checked with the COO/COOAs
or conform to posted accepted presets (3PO League, etc.)
For
matches involving multiple EH pilots on the winning team, they
must be defined in match report and also must be in a scoreboard
screenshot.
Custom missions must have a screenshot containing posted modifiers. Match
reports must be made no more than 72 hours
after completion unless special dispensation is given by the COO
