The TIE Assault is very much a pocket TIE Defender and is enjoyable to fly. The missions are well designed and fun.
My hundred and sixth battle in the TIE Corps.
I flew this as part of Raise the Flag competition 2021. Overall, the battle seemed straightforward with no major hang-ups. There is not much to say about it. It was fun but the battle did not contain any elements that makes it stand out from nearly every other battle you have ever flown.
A solid campaign showcasing the strengths of the TIE Assault. It is surprisingly quite well made. No complaints here. It's not doing anything revolutionary but it's a joy to fly it.
Interesting battle. Not the best of Ender's creations, but worth enough a try. Flying the TIE Assault is a nice change from the usual T/A or GUN. The plotline was a bit simple and the missions felt repetitive in the end, but all in all, it's good for points and some quick action-packed playing time.
I agree with the other reviews that this is a fun battle that feels mostly straightforward with some cool moments. It was fun to fly the TIE Assault, although I had some problems with the Enforcer Picket Ship patch and couldn't fly the last mission with it installed.
Excellent battle from Ender, indeed! It's quite challenging and you'll see hot action (flying-wise!) while using that little killing machine TIE Assault to erradicate any opposition from all a NR battlegroup. If you do it carefully you'll even be able to drive your score skyrocket since your wingmates are always ready to leave you alone under request. ;) And, ooohh, boy... the dialogue at the end of the last mission is from the best I ever heard here. *DON'T* skip it or else!! And now time to go for me... - Hey!! Taxi!!! - Yes, Siw? - Not again...
Great battle. You get to fly the TIE Assault, which is basically a variant of the Tie Advanced that trades firepower for speed. The battle is fun and it's a good challenge. The only things I didn't like were having to install the PES for just one mission and the use of ships with advanced missiles on a mission where we have to cycle through targets and enemy fighters also have missiles. Aside from that, this battle is absolutely perfect and the dialogue at the end of the battle is a must.

Part of a series about all the different elite squadrons on the Order of Battle. Story Line ---------- Mission 1: The Corporate Division News Group (CDNG) is delivering its newspapers to the Corporate Division flagship VSD Warhammer. Lately the CDNG is facing stiff, meaning "deadly," competition from the news agency of a nearby Alliance warlord fleet: The New Republic Spine Security Force (NR-SSF). These Rebels have especially gone after the paper and printing ink the CDNG uses - to what end we do not know. Just in case, Core Squadron will be on patrol in case the NR-SSF wants to disrupt the delivery. Mission 2: While the CDNG managed to print their latest issue despite of the NR-SSF's efforts, they are now getting really low on materials. Core Squadron will join up with two cruisers of the Corporate Division Picket Fleet and acquire these from a NR-SSF manufacturing facility nearby. Mission 3: The NR-SSF got nervous from our attack on their factory and has decided to take their precious materials deeper into Rebel held space by convoy. Since a lot of these materials were stolen from the CDNG in the first place the CD is not letting them get out of its reach. Core squadron will spearhead an attack on the convoy, aimed at getting as much of the goods back while loosing as little resources as possible. Mission 4: The NR-SSF apparently wants the materials we got from them back and has sent their battlegroup after us. However, the materials have already been transferred to the CDNG factory at Phare III and we are not equipped to take on such a force. Core Squadron must protect the remaining CD ships while they retreat to the security of the Phare Naval Base.
