INFERNO SQUADRON NEWS:
--- ORDERS FOR ALL INFERNO PILOTS:
(1) Write a Battlegroups or TIE Corps themed fiction for Cantina Run III, Phase 1. Try for at least 200 words, but participation is FAR more important than spelling. I want EVERY pilot to write.
(2) Add a part of the story in the form of a mission when the Inferno Battle Project Run-on story gets to you. COL Jack has the file now. Next would be LT Oskar Holtz.
(3) Recruit new pilots to the EH or to Inferno. Read the Flight Officer's policies on recruiting.
--- SQUADRON PATCHES AT OPS
CA:OPS/VA Wet Willy has updated the squadron patch page with several of my new designs. Only the male uniform patches are shown, but I think we can display both versions at the ISD Challenge page. We are the ONLY Wing with a patch for every squadron!

--- SPEAR CHALLENGES INFERNO
CMDR/CM Krax Tarnisar/Spear/Wing IX/ISD Relentless has challenged Inferno to a competition in March after the Cantina Run is over. He says, "Spear's still a bit rough, but we'd enjoy the opportunity to take on one of the Challenge's best squadrons." I have accepted on behalf of Inferno. We intend to reward the top gun with an Iron Star - Bronze Wings.

--- INFERNO BARELY WINS COMP WITH TEMPEST
Inferno wins by average for all pilots capable of flying: 164,261.5 (7 of 8 pilots) vs. 154,233.8 (6 of 10 pilots). Nonetheless, Tempest produced very impressive scores and a high average per pilot! Tempest's total score exceeded Inferno's 1,542,338 to 1,314,092. LCM/FM Sephiroth/Tempest 1-4 wins an Iron Star, Bronze Wings, with his top score of 358,229.

WING X NEWS
--1. WC/COL Darklord is away again this weekend, from Thursday 15th and returning
on Tuesday 20th Feb. COL Manitsas/Inferno will again serve as Acting Wing Commander.
--2. Kappa beat Cyclone by 2000 points. Congratulations to everyone in Cyclone for a very respectable showing with 5/9 pilots flying the mission.
--3. Typhoon is flying against powerful Sigma Squadron with TC TIE 166. The competition ends on February 22.
--4. Cyclone chooses new motto: "Brave the winds of Hell." CMDR/CM Corran Halcyon is now seeking a new nickname for the squadron.
TIE CORPS NEWS
--1. The BG Ace Pilot League has been closed by BGCOM Jarak Maldon. However, the Ace Squadron competitions shall remain as long as there is interest.

--3. CA/FO Needed- Flight Officer Admiral Priyum Patel is looking for a Command Attache. Details and requirements can be found at http://www.tiecorps.org/news.asp Apps must be mailed in by Feb. 24
--4. The Iron Star system has again been adjusted with Wings for flying comps and Ribbons for non-flying comps.

--2. Logistics Officer, Admiral Ted Tiger has resigned, and the new LO has been chosen: Newly appointed Logistics Officer Rear Admiral Ramos Kanzko is also hunting for a LO Command Attache. The requirements are on tiecorps.org.
