INFERNO SQUADRON NEWS:
--- ORDERS FOR ALL INFERNO PILOTS:
(1) Calvin Nunb, Jack, and Oskar Holtz must write a Battlegroups or TIE Corps themed fiction for Cantina Run III, Phase 1. It must be at least 500 words, but participation is FAR more important than spelling. Jack is currently assigned to add a part of the run-on and he can submit that part as his fiction! The stories are due to A-CMDR/CPT Calvin Nunb by March 7.
(2) Fly TC-TIE Battle #167 for the Wing X Honor Guard Competition. TFRs are due to me by March 14. The battle is included as an attachment.
(3) Add a part of the story in the form of a mission when the Inferno Battle Project Run-on story gets to you. COL Jack has the file now. Next would be LT Oskar Holtz.
(4) Recruit new pilots to the EH or to Inferno. Read the Flight Officer's policies on recruiting.

I will be on leave all of this next week, from March 4 until March 10. CPT Calvin Nunb has agreed to be Acting CMDR until then and to prepare next week's Inferno Report and submit all our fiction entries for OCR:3.

"500 Word or More Fiction Composition Phase" will end in the middle of this week, March 7th, 2001 for grading by March 10th, 2001.
--- WING X HONOR GUARD COMPETITION
Fly TC-TIE Battle #167
The details of this competition have been explained previously, but in a nutshell, we're flying TC Battle 167 against all the other pilots in the Wing to get a place in the Wing X Honor Guard squadron of 12 of the wing's best pilots! Awards will be given out, but aren't finalized yet I don't think. TFRs are due by March 14th.

--- KEEP RECRUITMENT RESTRICTIONS IN MIND
Remember to look for recruitment opportunities to fill the other flights. Keep in mind that under official restrictions you may only mail Cadets to help them with their training; the idea of course is to make your squad seem the most helpful, but outright recruitment notices are not allowed.

WING X NEWS
--1. Wing Commander Darklord has been promoted to General! Yippie-kai-yay!
--2. Ship's Doctor, CM Daisuke Airyu has been appointed the new Typhoon CMDR.
--3. CMDR/CM Corran Halcyon of Cyclone will be out of touch for the next week. In his absence, CPT Crovax (crovax@isdchallenge.org) will be the A-CMDR of Cyclone.
--4. COL Callista has been awarded the Bronze Star of the Empire for her service in Typhoon.

FLEET NEWS
--1. CM Daisuke Airyu of Typhoon squadron has been appointed to the position of Graphics Professor. The Graphics course will be up and operational in a week or so. There are still lots of IWATS positions open and they're listed at http://www.imperialacademy.org/jobs.htm
--2. The new Flight Office Command Attaché is former COO and most recently, CA:TAC, Admiral Havoc. When you send routine email to the Flight Office, please be sure to CC AD Havoc (Pellaeon2000@cs.com).
--3. The new ASF BGCOM is Vice Admiral Cyric. Cyric is a long-standing member of the Aggressor Strike Force, and has proven his abilities during his tenure as Grey Wolf COM. His select for the new Grey Wolf COM is Rear Admiral Woobee.
--4. Only a day or so ago, Grand Master Zoraan, leader of the Dark Brotherhood, has been removed from his position due to him declaring the DB's independence from the Emperor's Hammer. Although he did intend to resign anyway, SA Kawolski (newly promoted btw :P) told Zoraan that HE would be selecting the next GM, going against standard DB policies. However, XO/SA Kawolski has just announced in the EH Meeting that the new GM is to be Fleet Admiral Chi-Long! He will have a tough time fixing the mess Zoraan has left...
