Squadron News
Well, my first week as the Alpha CMDR has passed very quickly. It has been
busy but lots of fun and I hope to spend many more weeks as the CMDR of this
fine squadron. Alpha Squadron has a new member in the name of LT Gaius
Gracchus, who has been assigned to Flight I, position 3. LT Gaius was quick
to be promoted from SL, and I congratulate him. Several in-squadron transfers
took place this week. LT Srenn has been transferred to flight II position 2,
LT Cat has been transferred to flight III, position 2 and finally CM Killer
has been transferred to Flight I, position 1. Activity in flight's I and II
have been exceptionally high, however the opposite is true for flight III.
Everyone who is not on official leave has responded to my status check,
except for LCM Talons and LT Cat. LCM Talons, please respond with your status
ASAP, or you will be demoted to flight member. I'll give you until this
weekend to respond. Alpha got its first citation this week, hopefully this
will be the first of many more to come. Also, please don't forget to fly that
battle I sent you earlier this week for the competition with Inferno and Psi.
The battle is due in on the 28th. Don't forget!

Status
The squadron currently has a complement of 8 officers. Squadron activity is
very high. GN Wolly should be proud of us :)
Miscellaneous
Remember to do those IWATS courses people!! Astatine needs another 400 before
he reaches the 5K IWATS graduates mark.
I'm the TOA responsible for updating the database with IWATS courses. Just
ask if you need any additions to your record.
Fly battles, partipate in the Summer League Challenge, do something. Wing I
proud!
If you do anything noteworthy, tell me!! So I can put it in the squadron
weekly report.
I'm thinking of changing the motto and nick name of Alpha to something else.
Any suggestions?
