INFERNO SQUADRON NEWS:
--- ORDERS FOR ALL INFERNO PILOTS:
(1) Get your TFR for FREE-TIE #133 in TONIGHT! (This means you, Halcohol) :-)
(2) Add a part of the story in the form of a mission when the Inferno Battle Project Run-on story gets to you. LT Oskar Holtz has it now, next will be LT Sephiroth, LCM Ace, LT Triji Boliv, and LT Bora Yar.
(3) Fly FREE-TIE #105 by Wednesday, November 22. Many of you have already flown it, so don't sweat it unless you didn't get the top score last time. Inferno's Top Gun will face off against the top guns of the other Challenge squadrons to be our new ISD Challenge Ace.

--- INFERNO MAKES IT TO THE SSL 2000 PRE-QUALIFYING ROUND
Our tenth place finish puts us in "wildcard" status. The first eight teams will play in the Quarter finals after Thanksgiving, but teams nine through twenty will play against each other to fill the remaining eight slots. I still need an entry from CM Corran Halcyon, but LCM Ace has indicated he won't be able to get a submission in due to RL conflicts.
We are currently playing against Psi, Rho, Cyclone, Thunder, Nun, Kappa, Yod, Theta, Kaph, Mem, and Gamma Squadrons. Each squadron will start with 0 (zero) points. The best eight squadrons (total score) will be qualified for the next round, the Quarter Finals.
--- INFERNO IN FIRST PLACE IN SUPREME SQUADRON SERIES
After the first two rounds, Inferno is tied with Thunder Squadron for the lead. We submitted 11 graphics out of 12 for Phase Three, and LC Ace Pilot is judging the quality portion currently. High Activity has been the key to doing as well as we have. I expect the next phase MIGHT include flying, so get ready!

--- LCM BIGGS DARKLIGHTER TRANSFERS TO RESERVES
Shortly after announcing his intent to stay, LCM Biggs Darklighter has decided to go to the reserves, with the hope of returning when he is able to stay active.
--- LCM LOCKE TO STAY AS FLIGHT LEADER
Based on the report from CM Corran Halcyon, I have decided to allow LCM Locke to remain as Flight Leader of Flight 3. This will be contingent on providing a good example to all Flight Members, maintaining the Flight 3 website, and participating in every important competition.
--- LT SUIRAL LARIUS IS NOW LT SEPHIROTH
You may have noticed a new name on the Flight 3 roster: No, it's not a new pilot, just good old LT Suiral Larius. He has changed his pilot name to "Sephiroth."
--- 100% HEADS ON THE INFERNO UNIFORMS
What can I say? I'm very pleased to see a roster with a face on each pilot. Thank you all who looked for a graphic for me to add to your uniform. I believe that it fleshes out the experience of being part of a squadron, to think of your fellow pilots in more visual terms.
--- With the Challenge-Ace Title now vacant due to Xyrryc's ascension. This means we will be having a ship-wide competition on the ISD Challenge, a battle-royal! How is this going to work? Well, like the Electoral College... no, don't boo and throw stuff! Everyone in a squad will send a pilot file to their Squadron Commander, the CMDR giving his file to me. The highest scorer in the Squadron will be the winner for that squad. Each of the Challenge's six squad champs will then duke it out among each other later on.
So on the Challenge, by next Wednesday (11/22/00) you will fly the first round using good old Free Mission 105, Blowing Crap Up... a classic. Wednesday the scores will be added, Squadron High Scorers decided, then we'll move on next week.

WING X NEWS
--1. WC/LC Darklord will be on leave from 15th to 22nd November. The Acting Wing Commander is CMDR/COL Manitsas of Inferno.
--2. CMDR/COL Callista started a short leave as of Thursday. She will again be going to Cologne to try and find sponsors for the EH meeting at the Jedi Convention 2000... CPT Ahkliat (methran@cs.com) will be Typhoon's A-CMDR until Monday.
--3. Tempest CMDR, CPT Vuffi Raa has submitted his resignation letter on November 15 due to real life conditions. A-CMDR will be LCM Viresse Kheeta (Kheeta@isdchallenge.org). Applications are now being taken. Please email, Manitsas, Darklord, and myself with your apps. A new CMDR will be chosen by Saturday or Sunday.
--3. Tornado is setting their sights on Thunder Squadron, after having finished their competition against Omicron Squadron.
--4. Typhoon have finished their competition with Alpha Squadron.
--5. ISD Challenge is without an Ace-Title Champion since CPT Xyrryc won the Battlegroups-Ace Title by defeating CPT Kane and COL Oldham. Now every Wing X squadron will find their Top Gun for FREE-TIE 105 (Blowing Crap Up) and pit them against each other to find our new ISD Challenge Ace.

Yes, the Battlegroups has a MUD now! Well... it isn't complete yet, not Battlegroup or Emperor's Hammer specific yet. Still its great, and very very addicting! A special thanks to Captain Dan Malaktos of the Relentless for whipping it together. If you have a MUD client then all you have to do is long onto server enforcer.raptor.nu and in port: 4000 and your MUDing away! If you have questions, ask Dan. Enjoy!
