INFERNO SQUADRON NEWS:
--- ORDERS FOR ALL INFERNO PILOTS:
(1) Fly the next FREE-TIE Mission for the SSL 2000 Quarter finals as soon as it is announced. We are up against MUCH better squadrons this time and we will need every single pilot to fly.
(2) Add a part of the story in the form of a mission when the Inferno Battle Project Run-on story gets to you. LT Oskar Holtz has it now, next will be LCM Sephiroth, LCM Ace, LT Triji Boliv, and LT Bora Yar.
(3) Consider designing a brief mission for either Tie Fighter, X-Wing vs Tie Fighter and X-Wing Alliance to be selected for the Jedi Convention 2001 held in Cologne, Germany next Easter. Details available at http://www.tiecorps.org/tac/contest.html

--- INFERNO MAKES IT TO THE SSL 2000 QUARTER FINALS
Inferno achieved a combined score of 772,176 (9 entries) on FREE-TIE #133 - Welcome to Wing II, Ready or Not! We have passed this first hurdle with flying colors, but now the competition (top 8 scoring squadrons who were already qualified) will stiffen considerably. The results of the qualifying round are below.
The Quarter Finals will start at November 26th! 16 squadrons are competing. The top eight will continue, the lowest eight will be out! Laserless scoring will be in effect. Details will be announced on Sunday, November 26th. We need EVERY pilot EVERY week to keep going. Tornado and Typhoon are routinely turning in reports with 100% participation, and we can't afford to miss a mission.

WING X NEWS
--1. The new Tempest CMDR is Lt. Colonel Satai Dukhat (satai@online.no)
--2. WC/LC Darklord and CMDR/COL have both returned from their leave.
--3. Tornado takes on the sweetheart of Wing X, CMDR Callista and the Phooners! They will fly FREE-TIE 104, due November 26.
--4. ISD Challenge is without an Ace-Title Champion since CPT Xyrryc won the Battlegroups-Ace Title by defeating CPT Kane and COL Oldham. Now every Wing X squadron will find their Top Gun for FREE-TIE 105 (Blowing Crap Up) and pit them against each other to find our new ISD Challenge Ace.

--1. Admiral Sarriss has resigned from the position of Flight Officer due to health reasons, and will step down to the position of Command Attache for the new Flight Officer, Admiral Theodore (newly promoted).

--4. According to Captain Quake, Battlegroups Internet Officer, the Battlegroups website will be taken down shortly to coincide with the imminent closure of AD AbsoluteK's servers. Quake is taking this opportunity to construct a new website, which will be a lot more sophisticated and more like the TC.org domain. Expect the new site to be completely finished by the end of the year.
