INFERNO SQUADRON NEWS:
--- ORDERS FOR ALL INFERNO PILOTS:
(1) Fly the announced TIE Free Mission for the SSL 2000 Semifinals by December 18 (tentative). We expect an announcement from the Sovereign on Monday.
(2) Add a part of the story in the form of a mission when the Inferno Battle Project Run-on story gets to you. LCM Sephiroth has the file now. Next would be LCM Ace, LCM Triji Boliv, LT Bora Yar, COL Jack, and LT Oskar Holtz.
(3) Consider designing a brief mission for either Tie Fighter, X-Wing vs Tie Fighter and X-Wing Alliance to be selected for the Jedi Convention 2001 held in Cologne, Germany next Easter. Details available at http://www.tiecorps.org/tac/contest.html
--- COLONEL JACK: INFERNO TRAINING OFFICER
With the return of COL Jack to Inferno, it is my pleasure to announce a special role he will play in the continuing development of Inferno Squadron. Jack will undertake the unofficial role of Inferno Training Officer. As pilots move on and fresh cadets are appointed by the Flight Officer, Jack will be their prime resourse for getting started with learning the ropes. This will supplement the guidance to new pilots that will continue to come from me and from the Flight Leaders.
--- INFERNO ENGINEERS BUSY AT WORK
LCM Talon Zetar thinks he will have TIE 95 for his new computer and digital joystick. COL Jack upgraded to the the X-Wing Trilogy (with TIE 95) yesterday, avoiding the "Stack Overflow Error" of TIE CD. CPT Calvin Nunb expects delivery of his new 900 MHz computer on the 14th. "That'll be a heckuva lot better than this 166 MHz clunker that doesn't have a 3d card!" With the SSL semifinals comming up, we will need all twelve pilots to fly and submit.

CM Locke and LCM Triji Boliv are running fast and furious through the joys of the TIE Free Missions. I invite Ace, Bora Yar, and Oskar Holtz to rediscover the pure fun of the Free Missions and start advancing to higher FCHG ranks.
--- WING X COOPERATES FOR THE SSL 2000 SEMIFINALS
WC/COL Darklord will award a PC for the best set of hints produced for the semi finals. I encourage your people to a point where they want to fly and fly again just to get the highest score possible. You should send your hints to Darklord at (darklord@isdchallenge.org).
--- INFERNO FIGHTING IN THE SSL 2000 QUARTER FINALS
Last week, Inferno submitted our totals for the SSSD Sovereign Squadron League 2K - Quarter Finals: FREE-TIE #127 "A Quiet Little Patrol." We had the second highest total in Wing X, and that ought to be enough to get us into the Semifinals anticipated for this comming week.

WING X NEWS
--1. Wing Commander's Own, Cyclone is taking on Koph and Resh squadrons from Wing IV in a 1-on-2 competition, flying FREE-TIE #105 by December 10th.
--2. CMDR/LC Zulaan Eronaile of Tempest has a new webpage URL at "http://www.xwing.nu/tempest"
--3. Tornado is the BGCOM's Squadron of the Month. It is a consolation prize for losing to Typhoon by 107 points. :-)
--4. COL Callista will be on leave in Bonn, Germany until Monday evening. CPT Ahkliat will be A-CMDR for the time (methran@cs.com).
TIE CORPS NEWS
--1. The new Battlegroup Commander's Monthy awards:

--2. The scheduled round for the Battlegroup's Ace Pilot League was posponed until Wednesday, the 13th, due to a personal vacation of BGCOM/VA Jarak Maldon. He is on leave until late Sunday night.
--3. During BGCOM/VA Jarak Maldon's leave, Vice Admiral Adrenaline of the Immortal will be the Acting BGCOM.
--4. The new Lord Ambassador, RA Quake needs to have two full time Ambassadors to help him run the Advanced Guard. If you wish to apply for this position, please email (guyquake@btinternet.com) with the subject: "Application for Ambassador." The position needs minimal qualifications, although you must be a Lieutenant or above.
--5. FO/AD Theodore returned from a short leave this morning, with the Flight Office returning to normal operation.

--1. The winner of the FMC Academy Banner comp was Doctor Manitsas! He will be recieving a PC for his excellent work.
--2. OPS officer, FA Howlander, has been awarded the Medal of Honor.....ex-FO AD Sarriss has been awarded a GoE, both AD Stalker and AD Striker have been elevated to the rank of Fleet Admiral
--3. Principal Medical Officer of the TIE Corps, LC Death (DEATH-PRIVAT@gmx.net) is looking for new morale leadership for the Battlegroups and the Sovereign: a Senior Medical Supervisor, and Senior Nursing Supervisor.
--4. The medals pictures on the Medal Board have been updated to the lastest photos from the Operations Office.
--5. Newsletter #69 has been released to the fleet. This issue has been named the special edition "EH Primer." While there are no reports or submissions from members, it does contain a digested version of the Emperor's Hammer Training Manual with some added commentary from the Executive Officer on each command-level position and subgroup.
