Greetings pilots and welcome to my first report as the new Warfare Officer.

After well over a year as COM and then BGCOM of the ISDII Hammer and it's Battlegroup the time has come to move on. I'd like to thank all the pilots and CMDRs who helped me with that role, it was a fantastic crew to lead and I am sure RA Genie will absolutely enjoy his time in charge and survive with all fingers and thumbs attached. Needless to say I won't be going far and I've made sure to baggsie the quarters furthest away from the hangar bay bbq zone for as long as the Hammer remains the home of the TIE Corps Admirals.

The purview of the Warfare Officer is the management of the TC competition system, approving competitions as they are submitted and ensuring that they pass muster, for example are the medals correct and make sense for what the competition runner wants to do. I'll also be keeping tabs on medals that go out for competitions that have been completed, so if your missing any please let me know so I can follow up.

The other large segment of the role is expanding on what I used to do as Simulations Officer (SIMS) in running TC wide competitions, only now it's not just Imperial Storm, but Raise the Flag, Squadron ReMobilization, Ace of the TIE Corps and a host of others once I get my feet firmly under the virtual desk.

My immediate to do list, now that my database profile is back to normal and the Easter break is done is the following:
- Medals for Imperial Storm 5
- Medals for Ace of the TIE Corps
- Medals of Communication / MSE medals for the Hammer to close out what remains from my last role.
- Feedback Survey for Imperial Storm 5
- Competition Survey for the TIE Corps (what kind of additional competitions do you want to see)

Several of the above are already underway, with the medals either recommended or going into the database as we speak.

With Imperial Storm 5 having been completed 12 days ago, I've been picking up feedback from a variety of members and have created a feedback survey that can be accessed HERE. I'd be most grateful if you could spend 5 minutes giving me your feedback on the event so we can tailor next years more to the liking of the TIE Corps membership.
