Squadron News

My ISP continues to be "under migration"", so no new images at the moment. I was planning to share a snapshot of all the competitions. Be aware that the new competition page orders the competitions based on amount of days remaining, so you can easily check out any competitions about to expire. I encourage everyone to participate and do their best in as many competitions as they can, based of course on your personal taste, whether it's trivia, fiction, art, flying, arcade gaming etc.

In the monthly Emperor's Hammer killboards, Lambda continues to top the charts! Starting off with the SP Killboard, Wolve finished in top place with a whooping 321 missions flown. Ranger managed 8th place with 34 missions and the SP killboard looks very healthy with a number of pilots across the fleet tasting the custom EH battle waters!

In Multiplayer PvP, Ranger has shown his teeth (and horns) reaching 1st place with 232 victories. A lot of bothans have died to make that possible. Wookie, ever-present in PvP is at 5th place with 82 victories while Genie rounds up the Lambda pilots in the top ten with 7th place.

Last but not least, for the Multiplayer PvE, Gytheran has dominated the PvE killboards with... 2305 LoS! That's right. If our records are correct, this also becomes the highest LoS earned within a month. In second place, is none other than our resident Ewok, Solohan with 259 LoS, making it a Lambda 1-2 for August.

Monthly tip of the week: In XWA and XvT you can use the J key to jump to a wingman, allowing you to use their ordnance. Think of it also as a kind of eject button that lands you securely (and sometimes insecurely) at a fighter's warm seat.

Highlighted Competitions:

There are various competitions held by several EH pilots. Currently in the spotlight, we have the following competitions:

• Squadrons Feats of Strength I: Fly solo vs the AI, in Squadrons Fleetbattles. Do you have what it takes? Organized by Genie.
• Lambda Arcade - Star Wars (1983): Compete for the highest score in Star Wars Arcade (1983), organized by TheBlackxRanger
• Hammer: Crewmans Log: Each Monday (1st, 8th, 15th, 22nd) a prompt will be released around which you can write up a short fiction from the point of view of a member of the Hammers crew, organized by Phoenix Berkana.

Be sure to check out all the running competitions. As Lambdas, to know the competitions you are eligible for, under "Units Involved" it must be listed as "Entire TC", "ISD-II Hammer", "Wing I" or "Lambda Squadron".

Notable Streams:

Closing Comments

As summer draws to a close and September greets us, we are on the "Road to RtF". Let's get ready for an EH festivity in October as the RtF Marathon will soon be on. Remember to enjoy it, meme about it, poke some fun into others, take some fun poked back at you and of course... win!
