From The Desk of The Commander

I am writing this - my first entry - from my new Commander’s desk, in my very own office, with a very fancy pen that has a TC logo on it. It’s only now as I look at how nice this pen is that it is starting to feel real. CMDR ElleOhh. It does sound nice, doesn’t it? Anyway…

 

I already realize that I am extremely lucky to have taken over a squad with so much new energy AND some solid historic members. The perfect mix for a winning team - or at least one to be reconned with.

 

But, those dreams will have to wait. Bureaucracy calls. I already have a surprisingly large pile of mail from COM Phoenix and a few notes marked FCEO (For Commander’s Eyes Only) from Plif. I should really open those come to think of it.

 

I also now realize that it wasn’t just a joke that they made us take The Art of Perfectly Piled Paper, Shredding the Empire Way, and 5-steps to Treating Paper Cuts. I wish I hadn’t slept through that last one- I already have two and I haven’t even touched any paper until just now. Hmph.

Squadron News

Well that’s (almost) a wrap on May, and what a month it has been for Beta! We’ve had a number of roster changes in the last few weeks:

• CM ElleOhh - appointed CMDR (CPT Xye stepped down)
• LCM KELBAOMGEA - appointed FL of flight 2 (CPT Wildfire stepped down)
• LT Neurotictim joined the EH and was placed in flight 2
• MAJ Johnathan came back from the reserves and was placed in flight 3
• SL Sinbadthesailr joined the EH and was placed in flight 3
• SL Prophet[S] requested to move to the reserves

 

And if all of that wasn’t enough, Beta came in fourth place in TCiB! I know it was tough to see that medal just out of reach, but we’ve got some ideas cooking for future comps. Make sure to keep up with Beta chat in Discord for more on the specifics!
