LAMBDA SQUADRON NEWS
Real life forced me to delay this report (12th-19th Sep), so I decided to bundle it with the next report (separate email coming through).
Lambda has been taking a much needed rest, following the frenzy of the summer. We are preparing for Raise the Flag (RtF), Emperor's Hammer most prestigious annual competition. Here, you get the chance to fly for yourself, your squadron and your ship across all disciplines of activity including even Art and Fiction, as well as, the infamous jigsaw puzzles. That's right!
You can check out last year's RtF to get a better understanding.
SL Zero Len has been transferred to the Reserves. We hope to see him return to active duty in approximately three months from now. The Emperor's Hammer and Lambda's doors will be open for you.
Fun fact of the Week: You can increase the fire power of a Gunboat by using up all your missiles (if any), to empty your missile launchers. Then proceed to link lasers (dual fire), ions (dual fire) and cycle through them as you fire using the 'w' button. Applicable to TIE Fighter and Xwing vs TIE Fighter. You may try the same thing in Xwing while flying a Ywing. In Xwing Alliance it is not required, as you can link lasers and ions together.

- Trivia for the Hammered: One trivia question every weekday, sent via email. Who is the fastest on the buzzer!?
- Hammered on the Hammer: Create a bar/grill/lounge for the Hammer.
- Hammer Tour of Duty: Fly single-player missions for the Hammer! Every month a new set of battles is assigned.
TIE Corps Competitions:
- Trivia Grand Tour: Season Seven. Check the current week's URL link through Plif's email or the discord announcement.
Be sure to check out all the running competitions. As Lambdas, to know the competitions you are eligible for, under 'Units Involved' it must be listed as 'Entire TC', 'ISD-II Hammer', 'Wing I' or 'Lambda Squadron'.
