EAGLE SQUADRON WSR #35 (04-Sep-29 ABY)
REPORTING COMMANDER: Commander Graf D'Jinn, Squadron Commander TO: Eagle Squadron, Vice Admiral Silwar Naiilo, ISD Challenge DATE SUBMITTED: 4th September 29 ABY
EAGLE SQUADRON NEWS
Time flies when you're having fun; and even more so when you're piloting something small, sleek and fast. I do so love my TIE-In. Eagle is an Infiltrator Squadron, the flight is comprised of yellow and gold painted X-wings, but there really is nothing to compare to Imperial military hardware like the Interceptor. To which end, it was a great time had by all helping Col Marenta with her data gathering for the newly announced Interceptor Wars.
I predicted there would be a lull after IS3. How can there not be? With the sheer weight of numbers that our pilots were churning through in the simulators, a return to the mundane of fighter maintenance, flight theory, lectures on strategy and tactics, and a (un)healthy boost for the tab in the Challenge bar, are all probably excellent ways to recharge the proverbial fuel cells prior to October 01 and the beginning of the onslaught that is Raise the Flag.

COMPETITIONS AND EVENTS
Current Eagle Squadron Competitions:
Challenge Competitions:
- Challenge's Poetic Proficiency : Every round, a general prompt will be given about something on the Challenge, her pilots, her crew, her history, or sometimes more Star Wars in general along with a poem type. You then write your heart and soul, or liver and Chalquilla, into a poem of the given type which will then be reviewed by your fellow competitors and a winner elected by vote.
- Life in the Fleet: Cross training: Prompt: As resources get stretched thin we need our pilots to perform more than their flight duties. Challenge Order 0539 has been enacted. Pilots will be reassigned to serve on auxiliary ships within the fleet to train new skills that will be needed in case reinforcements do not come in time.
TIE Corps Competitions:
- Trivia Grand Tour: Season Seven: Entering Week Two
- Crossword Puzzle, be sure to email a screenshot of your answers to Solohan (solohan50@gmail.com).
- Guess the Pilot: Five uniforms will be released every week. Can you guess the pilots correctly just by looking at their uniform? Week #56/a> ends on Monday, 16th August.
Be sure to check out all the running competitions. As Eagles, to know the competitions you are eligible for, under 'Units Involved' it must be listed as 'Entire TC', 'ISD-II Challenge', 'Wing I' or 'Eagle Squadron'.
CLOSING COMMENTS
Steady as she goes Eagles. RtF is a massive undertaking, and our squadron's part in it will be a massive component towards success for the ISD Challenge.
Monthly Squadron Evaluations are in and completed, so we are expecting the next round of medals to come on down, and hopefully a well-deserved promotion or two as well.
I remain, as always, your humble servant,
GDJ
